We moved..... :|

Doesn't have a dryer vent!!! I didn't notice at first glance. Figured it was standard when you had a laundry room. We had to buy a little box. Fill it with water to catch the lint. Anyone used this before?? How often do I heed to check & clean it? 

The toilet runs downstairs randomly & the front door needs fixed. (Already called my landlord- just need to talk about it or I'm going to scream!!!) 

Of course I'm finding everything wrong here & I'm hating it thus far. :(

    We fostered them when I was in high school, yes! But my parents have them.   & thank you.

    I am so loling the image of someone walking into the bathroom, and a toilet with scrawny little arms and legs randomly popping up and running down the stairs. =))

    Hahahaha. Thanks for the laugh. 

    You walk in the bathroom & the toilet says "oh shit" before it runs off. Ha!

    If you report the repairs to your landlord (in writing in the mail so it can be post marked. Make your own copies.) he will have 30 days from received date to fix it. At least that's the laws in Texas. If you haven't already, google the rental laws in your state. It's so much better to be a informed renter. We learned that too late. :-|

    Lol about the toilet! ;)

    I don't know if this is safe, but I remember my friend's mom put pantyhose at the end of the metal dryer hose to catch the lint. I've never heard of the water method, but I'd be afraid to have water next to anything electric.

    I have no advice, just wanted to say I was thinking about you guys, and hoped it was going well. We moved sept 1 and stuff is still wrong... So feel free to vent anytime :). Hope that sweet girl is adjusting quickly.

    I have a shitty rental right now and when things break or fall apart, I take great joy in thinking "not my problem, I don't have to pay" . It's my silver lining, since we just barely escaped the craphole we used to own.
