Prefolds/covers and wiggly toddlers

How easy is it to trifold and put in a wiggly toddler without the prefold moving around to much. About ready to buy some but got gun shy once I heard that this could be an issue.

Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    @theultimatesak‌ do you use covers with the inner flaps to hold the prefold or does that not matter?

    I use both with and without flaps. It works. So long as your cover is nice and snug it won't move around

    I still Snappi. Sometimes I can get DS to cooperate by singing a a favorite song. Worst case I let. Him play with a phone or iPod. But then I have to take it away from him and then he throws a tantrum.

    Yep, we tri-fold on our toddler all the time.  No problem with moving in covers with or without flaps.  I do like having the flaps (Blueberry Capri & Nicki's) for daycare/babysitters though.

    Do the toddlers ever get less wiggly,or slightly more cooperative for diapers? DS1 goes into all out tantrum mode now, and he thinks it's really funny to kick me during changes now too...

    No tantrums, but mh starting counting 1,2,3,4 in a fun rhythm and M will stay still until he's finished. It's usually NBD though for the minute it takes to change him

    Sorry to thread jack, but do Nicki's have flaps in front and back? Blueberry Capris are my favorite cover so I'm curious to try others like them.

    ETA: nevermind, I checked the website and there is a picture and they do. I was looking at imagine brand ones the other day and got the two brands confused.

    Sorry to thread jack, but do Nicki's have flaps in front and back? Blueberry Capris are my favorite cover so I'm curious to try others like them.
    Yes they do have flaps in front and back. Capris are more generously cut, especially in the crotch...so if you have a bigger babe and want something that will fit to PL you might want to stick with Capri. Flips also have flaps, but the back flap is terrible.

    Similarly, we used to sing the ABCs, and she knew she had to stay still till we got to Z.  When she got a little older, we started saying we would be finished when we counted to 10.  She's pretty good with her alphabet and counting, so I think that helped.

    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    I have a long lean guy, so they might work then. I've been hesitant about trying Flips because I heard the back flap sucked. But I really love the Albert print ... And maybe a Spence.
