Consignment Sale Questions

I am looking to sell some of my daughters clothes to pay for her next season of clothes. I have tried local Facebook kid's sites and haven't had much luck so here are my questions...
 
What are the best consignment sales to sell and buy from? I live in Beaver County but am open to things in Butler County, North Hills, Ross Park, Robinson area.

Will you get more money going to Blue Kangaroo or Once Upon a Child or selling at Consignment sales?

Any tips of how to get the most for your clothes besides make sure they are clean and good condition?

    Most of my friends have had really good luck with JBF sale on Neville Island.  I think the key is setting a reasonable price.  People don't want to pay $7 for carter's pajamas when they can go to the outlet and get brand new ones for $8.  I sell my clothes through ThredUp, but I know they're picky about sizes, but they have an estimator that will tell you how much they can sell an item (a j. crew dress and a banana republlic dress might have cost you the same, but one might resale better.)  Maybe see if you can use that for setting pricing.  I personally like buying onesies and pajamas in sets.  And just make sure anything you pair up the sizes go together (I bought at sunflower sprouts swimsuits and the rashguards and bottoms were different sizes, I was furious when I got home and discovered it.)

    Thanks. I just found out about JBF through one of my friends. Consigning just seems so overwhelming so I want to do it right. I went to my first consignment sale (Sunflower Sprouts) this past Spring and was happy with most of my purchases. The problem I encountered was my own fault not sizing up onesies to make sure that they ran true to size. I bought 3 onesies that ran super small and we never used them. I would have been upset too about the bathing suit!

    I am glad to hear (read) people actually recommend the JBF at Neville Island as I am really hoping to find some deals there. I too live in Beaver County and haven't found any others online so far. Good luck selling!

    I decided to consign and just dropped off my items. I only had around 30 items but I made a lot of nice sets/mix and match sets so I am hoping they all sell! Sunflower Sprouts is this weekend as well and it is by Ross Park. I am consigning at JBF and shopping at Sunflower Sprouts because I am a SAHM with no family close to leave DD with and JBF doesn't allow kids until 6pm when I am not available but I can get in at 2pm at Sunflower Sprouts with my DD.
