No sleep at daycare!!!

So my LO will not nap at daycare no matter what! She refuses and fights it daily. She will nap a little at home and her night sleep has improved a tiny bit but she is dead tired by the time I pick her up bc she is lucky to get 3 20 min naps in. Any advice? It sounds like she is taking her bottle, passing out and then waking up as soon as she is laid down. I'm worried our daycare lady is going to fire us if this keeps up.

This is week 3 so no not super long but it's just not getting any better. White noise is a good idea. I will send one

Hmmm... Some days Liam only takes 2-3 20-30 minute naps, other days he might get a 2 hour nap. I'm not finding much rhyme or reason. Though days he doesn't nap much he usually falls asleep on the way home and wants to go to bed early.

Mine cat naps at daycare. The best we've had is an hour or so. She does better at home lately, I'm hoping she'll bring these improved habits to school soon.

Mine had major problems at daycare, and just couldn't nap for beans. My sister and mom suggested I bring a sleep sack in for him to use, since he slept well at night in one. There was an immediate change in his napping the first day we sent one in - he went from 20-30 minute naps to 2-3 hour naps!

Definitely try and replicate the sleep situation at home - it could make all the difference!

It took mind a month to get used to it, now she bias great there sometimes better at home but each day is different

See my daycare says with licensing she can only nap in footie jammies in the crib. Nothing else which really sucks. They're technically supposed to wake her even if she falls asleep in the stroller on a nap. So dumb. She naps in a Merlin suit at night and I would bring one in a heartbeat if I could

@Laroo0220‌ have you brought in the Merlin suit to show them what it looks like? LO uses the Merlin suit at DC but a sleep sack at home

I'm home with DS all day and he only gets 3-4 30 min naps in, how does your LO sleep on the weekends/when not in daycare?

@kkaew816‌ no but maybe I should. Maybe it would be ok.

@UnofficiallyLO‌ she usually takes 3 naps. First is usually a little over an hr and the 2nd two are more like 45 min so she isn't a great mapper anyways but this is just ridiculous. She is so exhausted at night were barely making it until 6:00 which sucks. Plus tonight she woke up at 6:45 screaming. I think she thought her "nap" was over. No hunny it's bedtime now

I would try the white noise as pp suggested and maybe something comforting from home. I think part of the reason mine is a poor napper may be that he sleeps with us at night but naps in his crib so he's not as comfy. If he naps with me it's double or quadruple as long as a crib nap.

We're having a similar problem. He comes home so exhausted and wants to head to bed, but if we let him sleep for the night he wakes up at 3am wide awake! We're at a lost to as to what to do? Doesn't help that he picked up a cold from day care too.
