I hate the man cold

Dh has the same cold as I and you would think he is dying. I got so mad at dinner and lost my temper with him. I am jealous because he laid down today, has taken cold medicine ( I'm nursing) and has been sleeping through the night ( I haven't in almost 11 months). I get he doesn't feel good, all I ask is that he try and pull it together at dinner to help. And remember that I can't take medicine or sleep all night or sit at my computer at work in the home office all day. I am chasing children, cooking dinner, getting homework done and keeping up the house. I don't have a minute from 7am until 8 pm with no kids because of the way nap and school schedules meet up. Now he is mad at me!!! Gggrrrrrrrrr

    Your cold is making you cranky.  I know, because I have it too.  Put the kids to bed and then climb into bed.  Take Nyquil first, and announce you took it.  Then if someone wakes in the middle of the night just kick him.  At least if you get into bed at 8:30 you will get extra rest, and you won't have to watch your husband mope around wiping his nose.  Win win.  Feel better.

    the man cold IS frustrating!!! In our house I always get sick first because of one of the kids and I feel terrible and get no help from DH but then he gets the same sickness and is texting me from bed "how did you function mine must be worse than what you had" UH NO i just cant surrender and stop or else our house falls apart !! They have it easy i swear!!!
