IUI #2 was a BFN, which I completely expected. Actually I was totally ok with this BFN, because in less than a week I am going over to the Netherlands to see my DH!! Now I get to get my drink on and just focus on having an awesome time traveling. This will be the first cycle in 20 months where I will not be tracking anything, no BBT, no OPK's, no ultrasounds or blood work. I am really looking forward to some much needed time not thinking about TTC. I am also a huge travel lover and I have been planning everything for weeks, so I'm really excited it's getting so close!

Hi ladies!! I have been using OPKs this cycle. Got a very positive OPK yesterday and a slightly lighter positive OPK today (along with some ovulation pain). We tried to HIO, but DH had some issues. I'm hoping our timing in the past few days have been good enough because now it's prob too late to do anything else this cycle. I usually O around day 14 so now were on day 15. Hoping for a temp shift soon!!!....like tomorrow! haha

@aves0708 Sorry about the BFN! But, I'm glad that you will be able to get your drink on with your H and enjoy your vacation! I hope you have a great time, and I have my FX for your next cycle!

AFM- I had a cd3 baseline ultrasound today. No cysts, thank god. Last follie scan, my OB said I might have to watch out for cysts this cycle because I had so many follies on clomid last round. Obviously, that didn't matter and I still didn't get my bfp. On to the next round! I am taking Femara 2.5mg CD3-7. I start tonight. I will trigger again after my follie scan, if I grow follies on this med, and then I will be switching back to vaginal progesterone. I had been taking it orally, and only got a bfp while I was taking it vaginally, so back I go!

I decided I wanted to try a new med, because the Clomid was giving me so much rage! I was moody, and DH didn't want to be around me, let alone BD when we needed to. So heres hoping this med keeps me calm, and DH and I don't feel as forced this cycle. Big hugs to those who need them!

Thanks @rslh10 I have to admit I was a little bummed when things didn't happen today. I'm so obsessed with getting the most out of our timing, but I know those little spermy guys can live for several days. So I'm just hoping and praying the ones we have so far do the job!!

AFM: solidly into the TWW. In fact it's 8DPO and I'm waiting (patiently/impatiently) for 11 which is the day AF is scheduled to arrive or maybe the next day since FF is a little uncertain. Maybe I will test Friday. Maybe not. I want to so badly but I also don't want to bum myself out with a BFN. So we will see. Have a great day ladies. Be back later to comment on others.

@CreechMommy‌, so glad you've had success with using OPKs this cycle. FX'd you got your timing right and that you get a temp shift soon.

@rslh10‌, girl, I have everything crossed for you this cycle!!! And I hope femara doesn't give you the same side effects as clomid. I have a friend who went from clomid to femara and felt worlds better. I hope it's the same for you!

AFM, 8DPO and trying not to let the crazy get the best of me. I tested this morning (yes I know it's too early), and bfn obviously. Seeing it didn't bum me out though. I'm still feeling a little optimistic about this cycle, but I'm Getting nervous as I get closer to my expected AF date. Last month she came at 9dpo, but more often it's 10dpo. So ill test again Thursday!

Other than that, just busy at work, applying for new jobs, and planning some fall/winter travel with MH. Oh! And we went apple picking over the weekend! Do you ladies do this during fall? We came home with like 10 lbs of apples and some apple cider. I made apple butter in my crock pot - sooooo good!

@aves0708 - I'm sorry for your BFN, but I'm glad that it you are handling it well with an exciting adventure coming up. Enjoy your month off from temping, charting, OPKs and all that jazz!

@CreechMommy - Yay for a + OPK. I'm sure you and DH got enough swimmers in there ahead of time. I hope this TWW goes quickly for you.

@rslh10 - I'm glad that you are cleared for another cycle and I hope the Femara goes better for you. I know that I had a lot less mood swings on Femara than Clomid.

@Elliecat17 - FX for you!

@GreenEyes842 - I'm so sorry for your temp drop. I hope that you and DH have a wonderful weekend! Your anniversary is one week for mine. Happy Anniversary!

@MrsPhD83 - FX for you! I went apple picking last year for the first time and had so much fun. Of course, I came home with all of these different apples and had no clue which one was which! LOL

@jj32 - FX for you!

@CFearsy - It doesn't hurt to call and ask. 7 is definitely too short, although 10-12 is average so they may not do anything. If I remember right, it was short before your loss too right? If your average LP is shorter than 10 I would definitely push for testing and some progesterone.

AFM: Just trudging through another BCP pack. I'm on my last week of actives, so that gives DH and I two weeks to figure out what we are doing for next cycle. He mentioned going back to the RE over the weekend, which I never thought he'd agree to do again, so I'm pretty sure we will be TTC next cycle. DH is still waiting to hear about the promotion, so I hope he gets it!

@CFearsy, was the 7 day LP your first cycle after MC? My LP was 10-12 days before my MC. I didn't really chart my cycle after my D&C, but my first cycle back to TTC, my LP was 9 days. I was a little concerned too because that's starting to get a little short for my comfort zone. I'm on my second cycle now (8DPO) and hoping that if it's a BFN, that at least my LP holds out to 10 or 11 days. But anyway, I attributed the 9-day LP to my body getting back in the swing of things. I agree with PP that if your LP is shorter than 10 days again this cycle, you should call your doc. I plan on doing the same thing! If it's 10 or more, I think you're good.

ETA: Ok, wait, I see you're on CD4. I think you could call and just let them know what is going in case they want you to do any testing this cycle. But really, getting back up to 10 days is a good sign!

@rmpar29, that's so exciting that you may be TTC again! It sounds like your husband is feeling better about it, which is great. I hope you are both able to come to an agreement about a plan in the next few weeks

@CFearsy - Technically, his job review should take place on Thursday. However, his last two reviews have been late, so it might not be until next week. They told him that they would let him know at his review whether he's proven himself for the promotion.

Thanks for the input, ladies! I will call them tomorrow on alert that I have some concerns right now. If they don't want to see me now, then at least if my LP isn't longer this cycle then they won't be surprised that I want to come in for an appointment.

@CFearsy, Yes, that makes sense. I can see why you're concerned. And I think alerting them now is good, then, like you said....if this LP is short again, you can get in for an appt and they won't be surprised. I take this approach with my docs too. I really like when all my docs know everything I think. lol. I'm sure they don't really like this as much.

Hate to bump and run today, but its busy day. I will come back to check on you ladies tonight.
I am in my TWW and losing my mind. My bff told me that she and her DH are ttc this month and next. Its rather nice to have a friend irl to talk to about all this. She is about a week ahead of me in her cycle and it is making me want to pee on all the sticks. Haha. I decided to buy a bbt thermometer last week and have started temping to get into the habit for next cycle if this isn't it. Patience is not my friend this week and apparently I am annoying DH.
Question: what is a normal change in temperature? Everything I have read says that .10 to .30 is normal, but I had a 2.0 jump.

@CFearsy I'm sorry your body isn't cooperating, I know how frustrating that can be. A 10 day LP is not that abnormal but a 7 day LP is definitely short. If you are regularly having less than 10 day LP's I would call and push for an appointment.

@rmpar29 That's so exciting that you will be TTC again! I hope your DH hears about the promotion soon!

@mrandmrsk91011 DH is staying in southeast Netherlands in a small down near Nijmegen. We are hoping to see as much of the country as we can. We would like to spend two days in Amsterdam, and then tour to some national parks and some smaller towns/cities. I hope your DH hears some good news on the job front soon.

@CFearsy My thoughts are always - annoy the Dr.!! If you have concerns you should def. bring it up. If nothing else, it will give you peace of mind. Your Drs. job is to take care of you and put you at ease and if they get an attitude or act annoyed, then get another doctor!

@greeneyes842 I honestly don't even know how to access my chart via the computer and I have no idea how to link it from mobile. I'm still learning all this part sorry. Keeping in mind that this is my first week temping, and its post O, I know I don't know my coverline or what my patterns will end up looking like. My temps have kept going up, but not nearly as steep as the 2.0 I had on Friday. More like .20 which seems more normal.

I am trying to keep busy, getting some work done on some crochet stuff which is always awesome! DH and I are going to the fair tomorrow which will be amazing. Something different and nttgpr
