Fun time in the bay!

Took a mini vacation to San Fran with the SO! Much needed and the weather is beautiful especially compared to the nonsense of Arizona! Can't wait to walk on the beach! Tho a bit chilly still wonderful!
Anyone else planning any vacations soon?

  • We planned on going to Galveston, but until my hg is under control it's postponed:( hope you have a great time though! Enjoy a walk on the beach for me:)

  • What is this "vacation" you speak of?

  • I am vacation/mini vacation crazed. Always planning something, but not since I've been pg. Still feeling not quite my self and not 100% through with morning sickness yet. So, for now, I will live vicariously through you ladies:). Happy vacationing!

Sadly, we don't have any vacation plans for quite some time.  We're trying so hard to save/pay down debt in order to buy a home.

I can imagine that not living with my parents anymore will feel like a vacation every day.
Having your own house is amazing, you don't have to wear pants! Though honestly, after living on my own, going to my parents and eating home cooked food I didn't have to cook, and letting them steal my children away to play feels like a vacation.

Galveston isn't much of a vacation place, but we went there for Valentines (this year) where my hubby proposed by writing it in the sand! The place we stayed was amazing!! It was like a condo (with kitchen/fridge, etc) but not right on the strand. I think it was called the Galvestonian? (Is it sad I can't remember?) We planned to go there again at valentine's next year to celebrate. :)

Regarding actual upcoming trips ... I am hoping to go to Italy in November (with my mom, probably, lol!) for our birthdays. If she can't make it, I might go on my own. (Assuming all is well with the pregnancy). Planning a Christmas/mid December trip somewhere with DH. Not sure where yet, but somewhere that does amazing with Christmas would br nice. Maybe Germany? :) Need to start planning that all soon, actually.
  • We will be taking DS to Disney for a last hoorah as a family of 3 In November. And then we have a Christmas trip to Chicago planned to see MH's family. I'm not too thrilled about that one, though.

We conceived this baby in Jamaica in July, so that was our "biggie" vacation for the year.

Not much money for a real vacation this year, hopefully next year! Enjoy your vacations!

  • That sounds like tons of fun.

I travel a lot for work, so those are most of the "vacations" I get. Lol.

We are planning to visit J's family in NJ/NY in the next few months (hopefully before it gets too cold), and we've decided to hold off on anything until after baby, at which point I'll probably take my 10 year old son on our annual mom and Edan vacation (just the two of us).

I cannot wait for holidays, though. We spend those in New Mexico with my family and it's my favorite thing ever.

  • My parents own a timeshare in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico so we will be going this November. Can't wait! Hopefully my husband doesn't have to leave for the army before then.

We live in Sacramento, CA which is not too far from San Francisco. We may take a day trip there, to apple hill and Napa before he leaves. Seperate days obviously. Trying to get as much time in together as possible. I want my daughter to have pics of us traveling as a family.

  • We just went to Italy, France and Greece in May and that was our last big hoorah.

I've been wanting to go to San Fran forever! I priced it out and it would be about $1600 for us to go for like 4 nights from here in NJ. We're trying to decide if it's worth it or not.
