4 Positive HPTs, Negative Urine Test at Doc's Office - Waiting on Blood results

I took four HPTs, all positive, in the last three days. I went in to the doc's late morning for a pregnancy confirmation and my urine test was negative. They did an ultrasound - no sac - but the doc called later to tell me to wait for my blood test results (tomorrow). This is killing me! Has this happened to anyone else out there?

    Thanks for the feedback. I did miss my period (I'm about a week late now). I had a negative HPT last Friday, then Sunday came the positive ones, so you may be right about the concentrated urine. Fingers crossed for good news tomorrow

    I had 1 neg then 4 pos following it, if you got a pos test then id say your preggers! it's rare for a false pos but not rare for a false neg. and I agree I think it would be too early to see on a ultrasound, good luck!

    hi!

    I had 2 positives and when I called my doctor's office they asked me to do blood tests to see if my HCG levels are going up to confirm then ultrasound when the right week is reached. :)

    I had positive home tests followed by a negative urine test at the doctor, unfortunately I did lose that pregnancy. Hopefully your bloodwork will give you more answers.

    I got a call this morning from the doc. There is a pregnancy, but my levels are kind of low - 174 (I'm somewhere between 4-5 weeks). I'm going back in tomorrow for some more blood work. Fingers crossed and lots of prayers the numbers are looking stronger!

    1 number doesn't really mean much at all. The next draw in 48 hours will tell more. Sending good vibes!

    HCG levels start off low and double every day. I'm hoping that your doctor talks to you about this so you're not upset. Good luck on your next readings

    The same thing happened to me today but the doctor didn't do an ultrasound... I've taken multiple HPT which have been positive but the doctor's test was negative. When I got home today, I took another test and it was positive.. I'm waiting on the blood work but couldn't get in today, I have to go tomorrow.

    First baby! Excited and nervous! Can't wait to get through the first trimester

    For my BFP, i took two HPT (one dollar store and one digi) which were both positive.  I called the doctor to inform them and inquire about getting blood work to confirm the BFP.   I went in same day....my urine test came back NEGATIVE, blood work confirmed BFP! 
    I think my urine was too diluted or something. Now i am monitoring my HCG levels, currently 5 weeks along.

    Update, My urine was negative at the doctor's office but the blood test was positive! Still praying for a healthy baby as I am now spotting a little bit. Otherwise, everything is good! I went for my second round of blood tests as the first HCG level was 307.

    First baby! Excited and nervous! Can't wait to get through the first trimester

    With my first pregnancy, I got a positive HPT but my HCG was a 29. The OB told me I was miscarrying. I was devastated. The second HCG was great and I went on to have a normal pregnancy. Turned out I had ovulated on day 30 and was only 3 weeks pregnant. My daughter is 6 now.
