Monday Bitchfest 9.15 edition

Morning ladies! We haven't had a Monday bitchfest in a while so, lemme have it.

Mine has a photo to accompany. I was running late because DS actually slept last night and slept in until 8:15. I never set my alarm anymore because he's always awake at like 5am so it hasn't mattered. Anyways, I couldn't stop at Starbucks to get coffee (first world problems) so I had to settle for gas station coffee and donuts. Well I get to work, remove my coffee cup from the cup holder, and somehow there is now a hole in the bottom and the coffee goes everywhere. I am now coffee-less, my feet smell like coffee, and I have a 9 hour work day ahead of me. This is not OK.

@leosmom25 - my Monday morning can't compare to that. My biggest complaint is that I stubbed my toe on the way to my office (the other side of my house). I hope your day gets better!!

I was going to bitch about being here for a 2 hour glucose test and running behind (them and me) but the other momma sitting across the room from me is here for the same thing.

She has her wounded warrior jacket on, a prosthetic leg, and her service dog & DH by her side. Makes me appreciate her service, miss a friend who was killed while serving, and just want to cry for complaining about pregnancy things.

A coworker came to my desk this morning and touched my hand. She then told me that 2 of her kids are super super sick and she's not feeling great herself. Why do sick people insist on touching other people? Keep your germs to yourself!

I feel like an ass sitting across from her thinking about how I should thank her for her service but then I am going to break down into tears and be a crying ass. My first one is my fault, but I'm going to complain about it anyway. I brought a bag of fun sized Take 5 bars to work today. I've eaten 3 already. I now have a tummy ache... But I'll probably eat more later because they are delicious...

My second one may be my fault, but I'd like to think my pregnancy brain isn't this far gone. Couldn't find my keys this morning. After looking for it for 15 minutes and waking up my husband, who eventually just gave me his copy of my key, I saw it in the laundry room on my way out. Why would someone put it in the laundry room? I asked this of my paralegal this morning, and she said maybe I did that and just forgot about it. I think I'll just stick to blaming someone else...

The house we were buying has fallen though (the septic system had an epic fail with a $25K price tag to fix it) So we are now frantically looking for a different house to buy. Our sale is due to go through in two-ish weeks and after that we will be moving in with my parents. (with our dog, and now 5 cats, and 3 children.)

Even if we find a house we love tomorrow, and our offer is accepted, the timeline puts us moving in there about 4weeks before I pop this kid out. I am officially freaking the fuck out.

No, we were getting the house and acreage for 55K, so no cut for septic repair. We would also have to wait for the septic to be fixed before we moved in, and here in Maine that would put us to mid June. There is no way I could live with my parents that long, you would see me on CNN in a bell tower.

I'm organizing a conference at work, and got a call this morning from someone all frustrated trying to register who said the website link just wasn't working. Fair enough, it's working for everyone else, but... ok, whatever you say. I offered to email her the link directly to the registration page.

But rather than letting me walk her through a solution, she keeps talking and proceeds to tell me 4 times over the course of the call that she "just doesn't have time for this" and "do you know how much time I've spent on this already?".

Ok, if you don't have time to click a link to take you to the correct website, but you have time to spend 5 minutes on the phone cutting me off before I have a chance to fix the problem for you? I'm trying to help here.

woke up in the middle of the night with insomnia. Just as my brain finally started to shut down my alarm goes off. Drink my nasty glucola and start to feel icky. Get to the doctor, it appears my excessive discharge (not even what I was asking about) is signaling a bacterial infection. blood pressure was too low and I passed out while they were drawing blood. and THEN it turns out I've lost weight since last month. This puts my total gain at 6 lbs. I'm sure that would be fine and dandy if I wasn't borderline underweight to beginwith. it's not like I'm not trying. i am. my mw says I need to be Putting on a lb a week. boo for crappy Dr visits.

My SIL is living with my MIL and my SIL is trying to go through detox from heroin herself and is driving my MIL to have a break down... I must add I am VERY overprotective of my MIL and love her with every part of me!! My SIL also has a five yr old son and is using him as a pawn to make excuses and manipulate everyone. I want to scream at the top of my lungs, she just needs to go away!!!! Get better!!! Find her f*cking self!! And stop playing games with the whole family!!! Ugh! That felt good

My bitchfest contribution is that I"m sooooo hungry. I'm going out with some girlfriends tonight and the time kept getting pushed back. Now we are meeting at 7:30, which means the earliest I'll get food is 8pm. I keep eating little snacks, but don't want to not be able to eat dinner. Unfortunately, I ate my lunch today at noon. Hopefully dinner will be worth the wait.

Exactly that. Also, I'm pretty sure I have a UTI, and I'm thankful that my OB was able to call a prescription in for me. The problem is coffee seems to make the discomfort significantly worse, and that's literally all that's been keeping me going at work. So do I drink the coffee tomorrow morning and attempt to be productive while feeling like I'm pissing fire every 3 minutes? Or do I avoid the coffee and attempt to be a productive, albeit irritable, zombie? First world problems at their finest...

MH is on my list! I love him dearly and would do absolutely anything for him, but today he really got to me! I have asked him to do several things (3 times in the last week) in the nursery to get ready for LO (and I start watching a two month old soon and want the house ready for her as well) well today I had a whole list of things that I wanted to get done, but couldn't because the stuff that I needed him to do was suppose to be done this weekend! (So that I could do my things today) But nope now it's Monday and I had to do everything so needless to say it was a pizza night for dinner (which I had to go and get because the cheap pizza doesn't deliver) and still haven't gotten anything done that I wanted! Oh and DD decided today she wasn't going to nap, then fell asleep at 4:30. Problem with that is, she goes to bed at 8 so I had to wake her up at 5:30 so she could at least go to bed at 9. Yea it was 9:30 before I could even get myself ready for bed. So done with today!

Maybe this should be Tuesday bitchfest as well but fuck. I gotta go to work but slept maybe 1 hr tonight. Shouldn't have drank the chai latte this morning (I'm pretty susceptible to caffeine), tired of preggo insomnia, and need to get my OCD about stuff to get done before baby in check. Dh is snoozing away, the damn dog is snoring loudly next to me. Damn Tuesday is gonna suck and I can already feel the strength of my bitchy mood for Tuesday starting. Maybe I should tell dh for the love of god please hide from me today. Oh yeah and bc I'm up at this ungodly hour wide awake I'm tempted to just get up early and get to the lab for my glucose test first thing which I'm sure will put me in a more fab mood.
