Re: bleeding and miscarriage
It depends how far along you are. When I miscarried at 4w5d my cramping wasn't any worse than a normal period.
I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and I had been spotting on and off for two days beforehand. I woke up that morning and my underwear were soaked with red blood and i just knew it was a miscarriage. I had some pretty bad cramps, maybe just a little worse than my normal period cramps. I went in to the doctor and the u/s showed that i had already passed everything. Sometimes the pain of teh cramps had me doubled over.
Good luck, take it easy. Ill be thinking of you. I really hope you dont have to go through that.
I would suggest calling your Doc right away if it happens.. (thats what they are there for and get paid $$ to be on call for) I hope it works out for you.
Miscarriage? I would think it wouldnt be THAT painful at that stage (because most woman think they are still getting their period) and they say you dont realize you miscary at that time. (unless you know you were already pg) sorry im rambling. Just tryin to help anyway I can. Good Luck to you!
When I had my spotting episode during first tri the doc checked me and everything was fine and he said if I start spotting again to call back.
Don't be afraid to call your dr. Thats what they are there for.
good luck and dont worry.
You're supposed to stop temping after getting a bfp. Your temps will fluctuate and do nothing but freak you out. Not all miscarriages will be preceded by a temp drop and not all temp drops mean a miscarriage is coming.
I agree with that. Don't chart your temps after a BFP, it won't mean anything. Call your dr and ask. Good luck! I am sure everything will be okay.
1st of all I'd just like to mention that I don't post often on here because people are really rude (refer to some of the earlier response). I had a miscarriage when I was 18, so I was really young and it wasn't planned pregnancy. I was 8 or 10 weeks and I had no clue, I went for my second appointment and when they checked for the heart beat there was none. I don't remember any cramping or pains or any symptoms at all, but I was also really young and my not have noticed. It was the horrible, especially at that time because people acted like I should have been thankful. I had a DNC a few days latter, I didn't bleed at all until a day before the DNC when I started to slightly.

I had a m/c at 8 weeks and it was extremely painful. I would say that if your start bleeding again or have cramping to call your Dr. If your Dr's office isn't open then I would go to the ER.
If don't begin to bleed again or have cramping but are unsure if everything's ok and just need some reassurance I would also call your Dr to see if they can at least check you out. Don't worry about asking these sorts of questions because having a m/c, or even the threat of one, can be scary and upsetting. GL!
I had a m/c at 13 weeks, and this is painful. I wouldn't recommend doing it unmedicated.
If you are just considered a threatened m/c I wouldnt' worry about it, but if you have more bleeding and cramping I would call after hours.
