Anyone Else Having Less Symptoms?

I've been trolling the net tonight because over the last two days my symptoms have definitely lessened.  I'm 10w tomorrow, and as sorry as I am for the women who have miscarried after seeing a heartbeat, their posts are freaking me out!  I have read that as the placenta takes over some women will have a decrease in pregnancy symptoms or they will yo-yo until around week 13.  I scheduled a scan this week with my RE because they did their routine scans on me at 6.5 and 7.5 weeks and everything looked good, but just to ease my mind I want another.  I also have a fetal heart monitor on the way so as long as everything still looks good I can try to hear the heartbeat myself.  My nausea was definitely better this afternoon, and I actually had enough energy to clean the whole house, which I don't think has happened since I found out I was pregnant.
Anyone else feeling better too, or any second + time moms out there felt better right around 10 weeks?

Re: Anyone Else Having Less Symptoms?

  • its been going up and down, today has been a bad day. Im 10 weeks. It will change and wont always be consistence. There is a great symptom thread everyday, you can get a feel for what we are going through daily. Good luck with your scan.

  • I will be 10 weeks Wednesday and I haven't had many symptoms at all. Some nausea here and there but I probably could count the number of times on my hand. I still have tender breasts, acne like crazy, bloating, constipation, peeing, and insomnia! So hopefully my appt Wednesday will be ok :) from what I've heard sometimes symptoms come and go, some women don't have morning sickness in about 20% of women
  • Mine defers greatly from day to day. Yesterday I threw up everything, today I felt nauseous only twice and never threw up. It's normal. Don't worry mama!
  • I've been feeling much better. My boobs calmed down around 9w, nausea has been decreasing, and I definitely have more energy. I still get regular "cramping" that I will assume is RLP. But pregnancy brain is in full effect.

  • I'm at 10w3d and defjnitely feeling better. The nausea is pretty much gone except when I'm very tired and the exhaustion lets up sometimes. I had a burst of energy Saturday and cleaned house too! Only to majorly crash that afternoon but still... It comes and goes too. Today was not a good day. Tomorrow will probably be better. I think it's fairly common for symptoms to ease up around week 10 to 12

  • I am yo-yo-ing! I'm 11w3d and had tons of energy this weekend only to majorly crash today. Nausea only in the evenings still but probably staying on Diclectin for another few weeks.
  • Mine decreased dramatically, was so excited as I am nearing 2nd tri, then nausea came back full force these last few days like pp's said it seems like a yo-yo!
  • I am 10 wks today and the last couple of days my symtoms have eased up for the first time since 5 wks. They come and go now instead of feeling like crap all day. I was worried too.
  • I'm 11w4d and I'm pretty much back to my old self EXCEPT for smells. Before, nothing would stop my naseau but now if I feel like I'm getting sick, it just means I need to eat.

Don't stress out or be paranoid, it's not healthy. Just enjoy the fact that you're felling better and can now focus more on the baby!
  • I'm 11 weeks today. I had 3 good days last week. I thought I was in the clear. WRONG lol.
  • I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I just stalked everything on google to make sure I was normal! I had an u/s @ 8 weeks and heard a perfect heartbeat! I'm lucky to not have ANY MS or anything...just extremely sore boobs were my indicator that I was still pregnant. Yesterday (10w, 5d) it seems as if everything has completely disappeared! I'm terrified something may be wrong, but I know I can't stress about it. I've read that everything calms down the closer you get to the 2nd trimester, so I'm crossing my fingers that's the case. Next Thursday can't come soon enough so I can see little nugget on the screen and hear the heartbeat!

  • I'm 11 weeks today, felt pretty great all through the end of week 10 but then today nauseous, acne is back and all food sounds disgusting.
  • I'm 8 weeks and i've noticed that a lot of my symptoms are subsiding a little. I guess just enjoy the break before they return ;)
  • My symptoms seem to have disappeared as well. It is frightning and Oct. 2 can't come soon enough. I need the reassurance that everything is ok in there.

I am just trying to enjoy the down time and not worry since I haven't had any indication that something is wrong.

  • Update- I got another ultrasound to ease my mind and everything is right on target. Baby is measuring 10 weeks exactly and that is what I am today. Heartbeat was 165 and I could see
Him/her wiggling around in there looking like an actual human! Such a relief! Glad to know its normal. I even ate chicken today a lunch for the first time in several weeks and though the day isn't over I'm feeling pretty good about my ability to keep it down today.
  • I'm 10 weeks & paranoid as well, lol! Symptoms have definitely lessened (ie, the nausea, good aversions & breasts aren't as sore!), but still bloated and peeing all the time!
