STM+ to little boys...

I need to know the secret. I obviously don't understand how to diaper my little boy because he keeps peeing up his back. We've soaked 4 onesies today. Any hints?

    I would say it's the diapers. How much does he weigh? And what size diaper is he in?

    My DS never peed out from back either, my only suggestion is to point his penis down otherwise he will pee out the top (front) of his diaper. Is it happening from just one urination? If so I would say the diaper is to blame too.

    @Mom2four97355‌ he is only 6lbs 12oz and we are using newborn. It's been up his back one time and I've had it up his side two other times.

    @MrsKasel10‌ yes, happening with just one urination.

    This used to happen to me all time, you don't need a new brand you just need to make a fold into his stomach at the top of his diaper... Hope that helps!

    This happened to me with huggies.  I switched to pampers and never had a problem again

    Yep, try a different brand. We had issues with one brand, switched to another and no problems. Also might need to go up a size if it still keeps happening.

    With dd2 I used newborn pampers and they were wonderful plus have the little line if you can't tell they are wet. As she got older I liked huggies more and recently tried a store brand and went through twice as many. So we went back to the tried and true for her. I'm starting with pampers this time also and hope they work again, and he uses them all I have two huge boxes of nb.

    I'm dealing with this too. Didnt happen with DS1 nearly as much. This little guy drinks more therefore pees more! I've had more success pointing his penis down into the diaper. If it leans to the side he pees out the sides.

    Was he circumsized? We were putting so much Vaseline on, on him and on the front of the diaper so that he wouldn't stick to it, but that caused the diaper to leak. Only put Vaseline on him and point the tip down and you'll leak less

    Wow that's impressive.. I agree with others maybe the brand isn't the best fit for him. I've noticed the few times my DS has seemed to leak a little it's been with Huggies as opposed to the Honest Brand & Pampers we've been using. I hope your switch to Pampers will do the trick!
