Gender predictor fun!:)

So tonight I'm just chillaxin at home eatin some snickers and fruit roll ups. Googling about different gender predictors. I know they aren't all accurate but hey it's still fun!! I did the baking soda test, no fizz, which means girl:))) the ring on a string and the ring swung in circles, also girl:)))))) the Mayan predictor both my numbers (conception year and mothers age) are even which means girl:))) it says If your numbers are both even or odd it means girl, if one is even and one is odd it means boy. Then did the chinese gender predictor which can out as boy!! :))) so of course me being Team Girl!! I'm having an awesome night getting all these girl results! Have any of y'all done them? Do you know of any others?

Re: Gender predictor fun!:)

  • I've done a few for fun :D. There is the red cabbage test. You can go on YouTube for how to. V or Y eyeball test you can also check YouTube. There is also one where you check your LOs hair line.

If this is your second child or third ect., look at the back of the neck of your first born. Does the hairline across the back of the neck go straight across, or come to a point? If the hairline goes straight across, your baby will be the same gender that your first born is. So, if your first born is a boy, you'll be having another boy. If the hairline goes to a point, your baby will be the opposite gender of what your firstborn is. So, if your first born is a boy, you'll be having a girl!

There is also a key test but someone has to do it to you.

    Again all just for fun.

  • I've only done the Chinese gender one (which was right for DS) and it is predicting a girl. We'll see I guess. So far I've tested the theory out on two families, in one the Chinese predictor was never wrong and in the other it was only wrong once (ironically it predicted my more tom-boyish sister would be a boy - a lovely source of amusement for us for a while). Maybe it'll be right this time, idk. Me, being the generally **optimistic** person I am seriously doubts it is a girl because my DH wanted a boy first and then a girl. He got DS so seriously, what are the odds this would be what he wants too??

I tried doing the baking soda test on a whim one morning after seeing a few videos through Youtube. Felt a little strange urinating into a cup, couldn't help but laugh. According to those results, I'd be having a baby boy. When doing the Chinese Gender test that I found randomly online, the results pointed to a girl. Who knows? But it kept the SO and I entertained for awhile.

  • Lurking....sex, not gender.

I've always gotten mixed results with these old wives tales. The only somewhat accurate one was the Chinese calendar, but opposite. It said both my boys would have been girls, and a different one said they'd be boys. This time the main one says girls so we'll find out if the opposite pattern holds true!
