DS is 3, and is now about 29 lbs, down from about 32 lbs about 4 months ago at his 3 yr visit. I expected him to slow down on weight gain, but not lose. He hasn't been sick, lately, either. He's a good eater (picky like any toddler, but he eats at every meal), and he's growing tall and losing his baby fat, so I'm not too worried. He doesn't have a Dr. appointment scheduled in the near future, but wondering if this is something that should be addressed. What do you think? Any experiences? TIA
Re: Is your 3 yr old LOSING weight?
My girls were 29 lbs and 31 1/2 lbs at their three-year checkup in Oct. We went to the ped yesterday, and the smaller one is 31 lbs and the larger just 32.
I think it sounds pretty normal.
