Re: MOTN Check-In
I'm not exhausted or anything from our LO not sleeping more than 2 hours at a time. It's not like I'm the one who gets up with her to feed her...oh wait. No worries DH, I'll just cry myself to sleep again b/c I'm so tired and frustrated...I don't need any form of support.
Tomorrow I'm just going to drag the PNP into the guest room and have it all set up for tomorrow night. I really can't handle a grown man's temper tantrum on top of a needy infant.
@brittneyandadam oh hell to the no. To your h,
LO has been up twice tonight before she was even up once last night. Boo. DD1 is up now, too.
It's only 9 here, so we are just getting started for the night.

I just wish this little munchkin would start sleeping a little longer at night without crying to be held.
Anyway I'm up feeding LO and have two complaints. First, what's with these stupid baby gowns with the elastic at the end?! I swear it's harder to change him with this stupid thing, the elastic is so tight I can barely get it out of the way of the diaper. And two, whose dog is outside barking at 3am?! This is the second time this week I've heard it in the middle of the night. I'm already up so I guess it's not a complaint because I don't really care. But it's weird. Alright, time to try for more sleep!
It is so nice to have this to come to, to know others are going through the same things, that I'm not the only one whose LO won't be put down at night, to get advice, etc. Okay, 4 a.m. sentimentality over. Carry on.

haven't done either of those. I was hoping she'd go last night on her own. she is farting up a storm. so I'm not super concerned, I still want to call the ped today bc I'm paranoid. Also when she was in the hospital I remember the nurse telling me she took her temp and that stimulated things real quick... so we've done that 2x. ugh I know it's normal but its hard not to worry. I think prune juice will be our last resort if the ped is okay with her poop habits

I cried last night between 9:45 and midnight because he was cluster feeding and I was so tired. I handle true MOTN feedings better than those when I am trying to fall asleep the first time I guess.
