Echogenic bowel

Has anyone experienced this with there ultra sound?

    When I was pregnant with my son back in 2005 during a 21 week scan I was told his bowel was hyperchoic. They said that it looks like baby has cystic fibrosis. Scared the life out of me. I had some extra testing done and another scan about 5 weeks later and everything seemed fine. The scan said fetal bowel was unremarkable. (Doc said that scan is normal no signs of hyperchoic bowel. My guess is sometimes imaging just doesn't go right, can also be an imperfection with their equipment. And in some cases they're May be an issue. Is your doctor scheduling you for another scan?

    I did a blood test to check for Down syndrome because that's what my doctor told me to do. Came back negative. Switched doctors becuase I didn't like mine and the new one said he will have me get another ultra sound around 30 weeks.
