Mine covers her ears and tells people they are being to loud when they talk to loud or laugh to loud. I don't like a lot of loud noises and I'm 30. I wouldn't be to concerned
Sophia won't even walk into a public restroom because of the loud flushes and hand dryers. My niece was sensitive to sound up until 10. Just one day she got over it.
A and L are both sensitive to noises if they don't know what is making them. For example, they used to be terrified of the hand dryers in Target until they knew what was making them and that they won't get hurt. They still hate them, but they don't try to either run out of the bathroom or climb up me as soon as they hear it. Now they cover their ears and say "That is too loud for inside!"
I am also pretty sensitive to noise, hence why "That is too loud for inside" is a phrase my kids have heard about a million times from me.
I was sensitive to sound (like, plug my ears if a semi was driving by) till about 16. I'm a perfectly normal adult, though I still hate loud shit, though I attribute it more to personality than anything (I'm a bar girl, not a club girl! )
