Cold meds for DD?

in Stay at Home Moms
DD is 17 months and has a pretty bad cold. I called her pedi hours ago to see if I should take her in or what I could give her. I've heard nothing back. I did some research and was thinking about getting the Hylands Tiny Cold Tablets for her but I'm unsure. What would you give her if anything?

    I would just give Tylenol. Also I use Vicks baby rub on their chest and feet (with socks on) and run a humidifier while they're sleeping. If their nose is really stuffy I use saline nose drops to help clear things out.

    All of this. My drs office said no cold medicine until 4 years old.

    Thanks ladies. We just got back from the store and I got a cool mist humidifier, nose drops and Vicks babyrub. It's like I read your mind before I saw your post lol

    I do the above plus give a tsp of honey to ease coughing or a sore throat.

    Ohh, we actually got that syrup last winter to have on hand JIC. Perfect. Thank you!!
