I got to go riding (Harleys) with my dad yesterday. Beautiful day for a ride, a nice escape from the kiddos, and some good bonding time with my dad :-)
My team won yesterday!
Oh, and R calls Hans from Frozen "boo Hans" because he's bad and we don't like him. She says "I don't like boo Hans" lol
IMMS to take L out to a farmers market yesterday with my parents and my friend and her DS. It was extra awesome because we got to see Caspar Babypants perform. L was tired, but it made me smile that he recognized the "Bubble, bubble, bubble, pop!" verse and danced along.
DD had a huge burst in her vocalizations lately and I love it
DH finally got his raise at work
I'm getting a massage and pedicure on Saturday
And, I won an AMP diaper sprayer at the baby expo on the weekend!! SO pumped about this. I thought I would just get by without one because I didn't want to spend $50 on it, I'd rather buy cute diapers, but it has to be so much more convenient. Now I don't have to debate it anymore.
This weekend I was thinking back to how things were when N was a newborn compared to how things are now with L. It amazes me how much better I feel this time. Despite BFing challenges, lack of sleep, food sensitivities, and juggling two kids instead of one, I am a lot more relaxed and happy this time. What a relief!
I'm also really happy that my double jogging stroller came in this weekend. It's nothing fancy, weighs a ton, and will take up most of the back of my car, but I have missed my stroller workout group a lot! I have to wait one more week for L to meet the recommended age for riding in it flat without the car seat, and then the world is my cupcake. (Who wants oysters when there is cake?!)
I can't get over how adorable ds' signing is! This last week he learned please and thank you! He's also learned combination signing: more + please and then he vocalizes "cracker" or "apple" or "water". And really who can't give in to a kid who says please! Oh yeah he learned "cooo cooo" for cookie.
My across-the-street neighbor in Seattle harvested our plum trees this year, since we are not there to do it. Four jars of plum jam just arrived for us at ILs!
I'm a little late but bedtime made me smile. I had just finished diaper laundry and I asked Harper what she wanted to sleep with tonight and here's what she grabbed....
Re: IMMS Monday
I can sort of breathe, despite this darn cold I have. I get to go visit my friend's new squish tonight.
I have a lunch date with some mommy friends tomorrow.
E calls owls "hoot hoot birds" even though she knows the word owl.
P slept in her PNP by herself for 10 hours Friday night. I feel hopeful for the future, even though this is atypical for her.

Also I'm not crippled today. Yay for a fast healing back
