well sometimes at least.

so last week I posted a photo of Brie with our friends daughter before the football game
Our friend's daughter is 3 months old and on the smaller side for her age, while Brie is on the bigger side.
My mom tagged herself in my photo so all her friends could see! yeah, what fun! So now I have to see all their stupid comments, such as:

Grandma's friend 1: " Oh are these your two little cuties?" (Real close friend if she doesn't even know how many grandchildren my mom has!)
Grandma: " No just the chunky one" ( REALLY Grandma- the chunky one!)

Grandma's friend 2: " What a little cutie, who's the big guy?"

SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY, WHO'S THE BIG GUY! MY ADORABLE, HEALTHY, HAPPY DAUGHTER IS THE BIG GUY?

(ETA: to remove the YOU JERK part! I'm not really mad about it, I think its hysterical!)

Now I know that Brie gets mistaken for a boy alot, and that part is totally understandable when she's dressed in sports wear and her hair is still short, but come on people.

  • I think they are both adorable!! Sometimes people have very little tact, don't let it bother you too much. I'm sorry that your own mom made a rude comment though. Hopefully she never says something like that when Brie is older.

Thanks guys but don't worry, i'm not upset, just had to share.
Please take the CAPS as hysterical laughing at these comments, not real anger! the who's the big guy comment still cracks me up!

I'm not that facebook savy so @rachelhermione45 or anyone, please elaborate on how i can make my photos not taggable? I don't mind if my mom shares the photo, thats why its on facebook, can't she share it on her own page and not tag herself in it?

  • Even wearing all pink and having a big bow in her hair, DD gets, "What an adorable boy!"

And she is totally a chunkster too - chunky babies are so adorable!!

  • My mom does that too, she always starts a voicemail with  "Hi, its Mom"

Even if my phone didn't tell me you called don't you think i'd recognize your voice by now!

I also crack up when 'old people' like my mom, still give people instructions on how to leave a voicemail/message. I think everyone knows by now that I should leave my name, number and short message after the beep!

Yes! It's so weird. Every voicemail from my dad starts, "Hi Birdie, it's Dad." Yes, yes, I know because the phone tells me so you don't have to.
