Teething.... it's horrible!

Sorry I haven't been around for a bit, but holy shit is this teething thing killing me! E has popped out 6 teeth in the past 5 weeks. He is such a miserable little guy and I just am having a hard time finding much that gives him any relief. We do Tylenol daily, frozen fruit/teethers/nets/washcloths/bagels, Hylands teething tablets, and I have an amber necklace coming this week in the mail. My grandma keeps telling me whiskey on the gums and I'm about willing to give it a try.
Pair that up with him taking steps and I have a miserable, drooling boy who's feelings get hurt when he falls down. I do love the toothy grin though!
Anyone have any miracle teething remedies?

Someone advised me to make really strong chamomile tea and put directly on the gum. It helped a little. I also added some of it to his fruit purée.
