Cloth Diapering

next step for ON?

I have been using a sbish flat with an added thirsties hemp doubler and the past couple of weeks my son has been leaking through it most nights. I'm thinking of getting some TT's as a next step. My question to you guys is whether you think regular TT's would be more absorband than what I'm doing now or would I have to get TTNN's?

Any other suggestions are also welcome!

I'm not really interested in wool but could maybe be persuaded.

Re: next step for ON?

  • The regular TTs are definitely more absorbent than a flat + doubler. We have two TTs and two TTNNs, and I routinely leave out the giant front insert, since even on his wettest nights, DS doesn't need that much absorbency.

  • TTNN are super absorbant! LO is nine months, I leave out an insert and it's still not fully wet in the morning. I have used a regular TT and it was just about right in the absorbency area, and no where near as bulky. I use a flip cover.
