Baby Food Coma

in August 2014 Moms
My lo is 9 days old. She falls asleep 9 out of 10 times while nursing and I try to wake her up to continue to feed. Any advice to help combat food comas?

    If she is having trouble taking enough you can tickle the feet, rub behind the ears, or feed her while she is in just her diaper. However if she has eaten enough just enjoy the food coma cuddles.

    My guy is just over 2 weeks and he still does this. The LC in the NICU said it's normal and totally fine. She told me to tickle him under the chin, or his feet or ears to remind him what he is doing. She also said to let him do this until he unlatches himself.
