The UO thread for last week had me thinking.....

What are your top 5 Disney movies and why? 1 being the greatest and 5 being the lowest.

Also, which 5 are your least favorite and why?

And of course, who's your fav Disney princess and why?

Ariel is definitely my favorite princess with Belle being a close second. I've always loved Ariel since I was a kid, because The Little Mermaid was my first movie, and I thought being a mermaid was so cool. Also, Ariel was famous for her singing voice, and I've been singing since I was a kid so I found it easy to relate to her. I had a connection with Belle because she had a love for reading and so do I.

My favorite movies are the ones where the female characters aren't pictured as damsels in distress. Snow White and Sleeping Beauty are such wimps and need a prince to come save them or wake them up or whatever. Lame! Mulan kicks major ass! I also don't like Bambi because I hate sad, sappy movies and I just find Dumbo and The Jungle Book to be boring.

These are my top favs because they're so unusual and unique. Mermaids rock, Tim burton in general rocks, Alice in wonderland is just so.....I don't even know but I love it. Robin Hood is just so sweet and simple. And the lion king makes me cry every single time.

Least favorite

1. Treasure planet

2. Atlantis: the lost empire

3. Brother bear

4. The black cauldron

5. I haven't seen pocohantas in years but, nothing is really urging me to watch it again

Idk. Atlantis and Treasure are too.....robotic and technological. I don't like it. Brother bear looked boring as hell and I remember the black cauldron scaring me lol

Fav Disney princess is of course Ariel. First of all, she's gorgeous. Second, mermaids are just awesomely magical, third, the music was so passionate and lively and it made you just fall in love with the characters.

Top 5 Favorite Disney Movies:

1. The Little Mermaid - Ariel is by far the coolest of all the princesses, she's adventurous, spirited and fearless. The music is ahhhmaazing. The movie itself is incredibly colorful and Ursula is a likable villain.

2. Hercules - Again, music is fun and catchy and his adventure is epic. Hades is hilarious, as are Pain and Panic. I'm also into Greek mythology so I enjoy seeing the different gods/demi-gods represented.

3. The Princess and the Frog - The story is adorable and I love the setting, down in old NOLA. The music is incredible and Tiana is a pretty cool chick.

4. 101 Dalmations - I love dogs and love the theme of parents doing whatever it takes to get their kids back, even if they are pooches. Cruella DeVille is straight up scary though! lol

5. Aladdin - Just an incredible love story, shows it doesn't matter what social status you come from, two people from different worlds can find love. Genie is by far one of the best Disney characters.

Least Favorite (I love all Disney movies though!)

1. Fox and the Hound - Too sad, I refuse to watch it because it makes me hysterical how they grow apart.

2. Hunchback of Notre Dame - Never really enjoyed it.. not sure why just couldn't get down with it.

3. Pinocchio - It always felt all over the place to me but I LOVE Jimmy Cricket!

4. Oliver and Company - just not crazy about it.

Favorite princess hands down is Ariel, I have a pretty decent little mermaid collection ranging from dolls, statues, figurines, accessories and cups! Love love her!

Belle is my favorite princess because she is pretty and smart and she doesn't need be saved but instead she saves the beast

1) The Little Mermaid *Ariel is my favorite princess (I watched this so much as a kid that I would sit impatiently as the VHS tape had to rewind so that I could watch it again)!
2) Beauty and the Beast

I loved the stories and the soundtracks!!!

Least Favorites:
1) Fox and the Hound - Way too sad... Holy crap!
2) Alice in Wonderland - I don't know why but this and the Wizard of Oz have always given me the creeps

@jensavicci‌ figured it was an oversight. Plus it's a mandatory watch for me around halloween, so I thought maybe that was why the mistake, maybe you do the same.

This is really hard!
Favorites:
1) Hercules- love how funny it is, and the music is great!
2) Tarzan- LOVE the music!
3) Toy Story
4) Sleeping Beauty- the fairies are my favorite character grouping.
5) Mulan- She's a great heroine. Plus Eddie Murphy cracks me up in it.

Least favorites:
1) Lilo and Stitch
2) Dumbo- makes me cry
3) Fox and Hound- also makes me cry
4) Snowhite- her high pitched squeaky voice kills me!
5) 101 Dalmations- which is strange bc I love dogs

This was too hard. I'm already regretting some choices. There are so many I love!!!

I am having a hard time with the favorites. Their are just so many greats! I just love so many! I actually had a disney birthday party for my 26th birthday. I'm such a dork everyone dressed up as a Disney Character...It got ratchet but was so fun!

I feel extremely lucky because I've only seen it 3 times. And DD wasn't particularly into it, so I don't have to listen to the music all day. So I still like it just not a favorite
