DD is 12 days old. Just today I noticed at her nap and bedtime she was on her side in her swaddle. I put her back on her back but does anyone's LO side sleep this early on?
my DD is 3 months old and has always slept on her side:) I actually tuck a blanket around her so she feels more secure and stays on her side....now that she is getting older she moves around a lot more but when she was a newborn she would stay on her side longer:)
My son immediately rolled on his right side the as of day one and always will. And Im not sure if he does it intentionally lol cuz he really doesn't seem to like it all that much. He likes to be snugged tight and not able to move around when he sleep, he startles himself easily and wakes up lol. He's a month old now and likes to swaddle but doesn't like his arms to be in it anymore. He gets wrapped in a blanket and sleeps next to my bed in a rock n play which he loves a lot more than the bassinet because he cant move, so I don't have to worry about how he's sleeping since he'll always be on his back. Once he's able to roll over on his own then he'll be going in his crib since not sleeping on his back isn't nearly as much as an issue then.
LO always sleeps on his side and it seems to help with keeping him from spitting up in his sleep. We just tuck a rolled up blanket around his body so he can't roll onto his back or tummy and he sleeps great. Doctor actually recommended he sleep this way because he has reflux.
