STTN and leaks- at 14 months.

C has slept through the night all week. Yay!!!! <:-P :D

But all week, he has had leaks that he never did before. Mostly just small ones, a damp edge here or there. But this morning he woke up and he was soaked. pants, top, sheet, blanket, everything.

I'm pretty sure I can try a few things to take care of the leaks. Add more of what we are doing, or have a good excuse to buy some fitteds. We use prefolds and hemp doublers at night, and they have been drenched, its not fit or repelling leaks.
But I am wondering why?
Is there some correlation between sleeping more and peeing more? He isn't in the diaper any longer, just asleep the whole time instead if waking up a lot. Is it just a coincidence?

    I would guess you are maybe hitting that toddler stage where they just pee like crazy at random times.

    Sounds like an extra doubler or trying fitteds might be in order! Yay for more fluff.

    Jealous! Ds is also 14 months, but he's been waking up and gets pissed about wet diapers. So we are actually changing him ON! Else he refuses to go back to sleep! Ugh.

    I'm cheap, and skeptical of fitteds getting clean enough. So I'd try an extra insert first and see if that helps. I really like the flip inserts since they seem trimmer than prefolds.

    Some days my toddler drinks more than others and his diaper will be soaked.

    I just ordered some bamboo flats to try instead of the red edge we were using with the hemp. He's actually been soaking through the red edge and 2 hemp inserts.... Last night I even added a mini hemp on top of the 2 and there was still a bit of leaking.
