Baby Motrin vs Childrens

Is it just dosing that is the obvious difference?  I feel like infant Motrin/ Tylenol is such a rip off, the bottle is so tiny.  Not to mention Im in a 4 molar situation right now and went to the store but they only had children's and the bottle is HUGE compared to the infant version.  Its gotta be the same stuff right?  I just use the syringe dose like I would with the infant version and call it a day?

Re: Baby Motrin vs Childrens

  • Infants is much more concentrated. So if you use it just make sure you are using the correct dosage. I thought someone else was doing this and making the conversion but I can't remember who.

  • BTW that's why those bottles are so much smaller. It's just to make it easier to give to fussy babies by having to give less, if that makes sense.

  • FYI Target brand of infant Motrin is fine, and in the children's section where all the bath stuff is there should be a tiny little clearance area. I got 2 boxes of Target infant Motrin for $6.99 there. They're not expired or open or anything. Check it out

  • Target 2 pack here too. Of course, I always misplace the second bottle by the time I need it.
