We just came home from a Taiwanese bakery with moon cakes and milk pudding. I only had one pastry and I feel like death. I'm trying to convince DH that Sinny needs this:
We went to church this morning, now we are just going to hang out at home for the rest of the day. I'm making @rachelhermione415 's crockpot chicken chili for dinner and this afternoon I'm going to bake an apple crisp from apple's I picked from our own apple tree Hello Fall!!

Share the recipe? I'm guessing @rachelhermione415 posted it somewhere, but clearly I missed it, and it sounds like something I need in my life!
Here ya go... It is wonderful. I serve it over fritos.
I have a teacher workshop tomorrow. I will have to pump at some point. I'm debating whether to run out and buy a battery pack for my pump or just hope there is a place I can plug in there. I know the woman running it well and I meant to email her in advance but I can't find her email.
My SIL and her new kidney went home yesterday, only 3 days after her transplant. The hospital said it's a new record for fastest release after a transplant for them.
I may live at my sisters forever. My contractor needs 4 clear days in order to rip my roof and it rains every 3 days. I'm staring at my weather app, willing it to change. While things are mostly going great here, LO is not sleeping.
@MelloChello I have math, phonics, and animals ATM. They're from a website called Right Brain Kids. I think if you want to do any flash cards the brand/type probably doesn't matter. If you believe the theory behind Right Brain Education then math spots are better than numbers. I don't think it matters for letters. Just have fun, you know?
We went to church today and then I cleaned up the kitchen disaster. We are on the bottom floor of our condo and our garbage disposal was clogged... Everyone above us was flushing they shiz down the sink and it was coming up in ours & over flowing. DON'T WORRY GUYS.... a plumber will come fix this for you at the modest price of $439!!!!
Anyways... It's fixed. Everything is clean. And apparently I'm in the wrong business at those prices.
MY SIL IS PREGNANT!!!!!! Ahh!!!! They're the ones I posted about a while ago about what I should/shouldn't say because they were struggling to get pregnant. Well we all cried when Steven (my brother) told us Matthew would have a baby cousin in April. ( : I am over the moon excited!!!!!!
And I may have bought myself a jogging stroller today.. You guys are bad influences. ( :
TRIGGER WARNING!!!!!!
AND my best friend had her baby girl on Friday. They were told she would be born with one of three syndromes.. One of them is incompatible with life. Well she have birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl. ( : Chloe Elizabeth. ( : she had some issues with jaundice and dehydration but got to go home today. I can't wait to go meet her! They didn't want visitors at the hospital.
We just came back from the IL's. I let A try a little bit of Kalbi and he was in heaven. He made a motion that resembled spirit fingers while dancing on MIL's bed.
Autumn was super clingy or she just wanted to do her own thing. So I got her a walker. Best 30$ ever! She's so happy chasing the dog.
We have a walker for Layla too. She loves it! I thought she would only use it in the kitchen, but she gets a running start and goes on the carpet as well. She likes to explode the house in it. I find her in our bedroom most often lol.
I hate it but MIL gave it to him so I can't get rid of it.
Layla has it. She won't sit on it, but she loves to push it around. We let her use it when we are right there with her on the carpet. It is a little slick, but she uses her core to bring it back to her if it gets too far ahead.
@MotherEFFingKatie Our first floor is all wood also so I have to stay away from certain toys. We're all down there most of the time. If we had more carpet it wouldn't be a concern.
@Sing2phins This is a shitty batch of WW. I think it's the most difficult one in the last 8 months. The first two were bad, then after that they were kind of noticeable. But this one is brutal.

I decided to make this cause it sounds good. It's got a little more than an hour left and I just checked the chicken is done so I shredded it. Should I wait till time is up or do you think it's ok to eat now? It smells so good and I'm hungry!
Eat it! If the chicken is done you are good to go! We just finished dinner, it was perfect!
Sing, you just described my day and my emotions toward it exactly.
I was actually feeding him dinner and caught myself raising my voice because in just so worn out, frazzled, sleep deprived and unable to deal with my shrieking, food-throwing baby.
I immediately corrected my tone, but felt like a giant asshole for even losing my cool for a second. I was/am questioning my mommy-abilities today too.
I know this isn't the drinking thread but I need more information about boxed wine. I've never had it. What is the appeal? The price? I was very tempted to get The Wine Cube or something at Target but for $9 for 3 glasses I figured I could spend not much more and get an okay bottle. If I am going to get boxed wine what should I try?
@cagoldi I haven't tried boxed wine either, so I can't make a recommendation, but I remember reading that wine actually keeps better in a box. Something about being exposed to less light... I think that was the only real advantage in bottle vs box, which in my mind equates boxes to being great for the person that takes a week to finish a bottle and that's about it. I'm not even sure a person like that exists, who takes more than 2 days, tops, to finish a bottle?????
This I believe, because beer in darker colored glass keeps better than clear, and the same is true of milk in cartons vs glass. If @MotherEFFingKatie is right about it just being cheaper and crappy then I'm staying far away from it.
Re: Sunday Spam
I am dealing with two sick babies. Running noses, non-stop crying and little sleep. This weekend cannot end soon enough.

I need that app!
