Do you guys have any suggestions for a pad for a large play area. there are so many options to choose from. i dont think i want to go with the puzzle pieces since i have heard they break apart easily.
Following...our formal living room is currently empty and will be becoming a play area and we want large mats to cover the floor space. Yep, it will be the first thing you see when you enter our house...
We have the letter/puzzle kind and have had it for almost 3 years. My daughter only pulled the edges off a couple times. Not sure how my son will treat it.
A friend got us a Dwinguler. Its a reversable memory foam mat that I love! We have hard wood floors and you can sit on it for long periods of time without it hurting your butt. Good for learning how to roll, crawl, and especially walk since it will soften the impact when they fall. We have this one, but there are a bunch of different patterns and themes depending on boy/girl/unisex you can choose from. We have the flower side up right now, but when she starts learning her ABC's and Numbers we will flip it over. Super easy to clean, just wipe it off. We chose this pattern so it can stay in her room with the flowers and she can paint, color, and stuff on it when she gets older and as she has kids stay the night, they can sleep on it, so if anyone wets the bed (it happens) its an easier clean up!! Love it! It will last us a looooong time! It is kind of pricey, but so worth it! Im glad my friend got this for us! (We knew about it so we could pick out the pattern we preferred)
