I already called the pediatrician. I'm waiting for a call back.

I took DD in yesterday because she woke up with spots. It turns out she is allergic to her antibiotics. She is now on Benadryl and starts new meds on Monday. She has had 2 full doses of the Benadryl between now and last night. It seems like the rash is getting worse and spreading to more body parts. She has a low grade fever and is acting somewhat normal.

Should I give her another dose of Benadryl before the doc calls back or wait for instructions from the doc?

I'd wait for doc. If she's comfortable, I'd wait. Did doc say anything about Tylenol? I don't know if you should mix meds, tho. So, I'd wait for doc.

The doc called like 5 minutes after I posted this. I have to keep giving her the Benadryl. She's almost at her limit for today. The med pamphlet says not to mix meds.

She hasn't been scratching at all. She's just red and spotted.
