Is this weird? My friend are hosting my baby shower but they need some place centrally located to host it at (I live in a large city). They all live about an hour north of the center of the city and I also have friends that live 45 minutes south of the city. I'm the only one that lives in the middle - so they asked my thoughts about using my house for my shower so people wouldn't have to hour and a half drives. They would be doing all the work - but it is weird to have your baby shower thrown at your own house?

I have been to tacky showers at restaurants and tea houses and ppls homes. I think tacky depends a lot on your crowd. A lot less on location.
