Halloween costumes for babies!!!

I am so excited to dress lo up! I absolutely loooooovvvveeee halloween! So right now I'm thinking he and I might be animals (me like a cow and him maybe a piglet) and my husband being a bloody butcher or me being Princess Jasmine, Hubby being Aladdin and baby being Aboo the monkey. I don't know though it's really still all up in the air. What are you doing? Group costume? Just baby? Any unique ideas? Halloween is so cute and now we have babies to play dress up with too!!!!

I love Halloween! I haven't thought if a costume yet for LO. I know I'm dressing her up as a pumpkin for pumpkin picking! I like the Aladdin idea! That's cute...maybe well be ghostbusters and Gia will be a ghost!

I have multiple costumes for her so far, someone should stop me before I get any more.

She has Wonder Woman, Tigger, and then a horse costume (which I am claiming is for Bad Horse, the Thoroughbred of Sin)

I thought about doing Togepi but I'm not quite up to doing Misty yet so that will wait for the next convention I go to.

I suppose I could make a costume to go with any of her other things but I haven't put much thought into it.

DS(2.5yo) is going as Jake from the Neverland Pirates (on Disney Jr for all of you non toddler moms). DD is going as the parrot from the show. I might dress up as Izzy the girl pirate on the show since I'd really just need a pink bandana, we'll see. DH is working unfortunately

I'm so not sure yet. DW really wants us to be a family of zombies. Which would be fine if we didn't have children who get scared lol. So, I honestly don't know. Not even for Max.

I'm supposed to work, but I told my boss that he's either going to figure it out and let me go or fire me, because this is my first baby's first Halloween, and I'm taking her trick or treating. So I will either come back with a job the next week or not. ^_^' DD already is showing a "thing" for tinkerbell, so DH has been looking at the baby tinkerbell costume. She has a Rapunzel onesie, and he thought IF it still fits her, we might do Rapunzel. It's a fight to get me to dress up, because without fail, every Halloween I end up having a big meltdown about how ugly I am and how I can't go out and how my costume isn't right, and I get violent and usually punch myself in the stomach because I'm overweight. Healthy, right? I'm pathetic. -.-'

I actually thought about dh and I being Maggie and Glen from walking dead (dh is asian and I am super southern) and dressing the baby as a zombie! I thought it would be funny when he breast feeds because he grunts and makes all kinds of noises and it would be like he was eating my boob!!! lol @jensaviici that would be funny for you guys too since your thinking of going the zombie route!

DS1 is a November baby, so he was almost a year before his first Halloween. He was a pumpkin. It's our tradition that every baby's first Halloween they are a pumpkin.

I'll probably just dress DD in a Halloween onesie and find a Halloween shirt for DS and pass out candy. I usually end up wearing a cat/mouse ear headband. That's what we did last year. I will probably do something next year.

@Nichole8787‌ that really is a neat idea! He could be all warm and snuggly too since the last few halloweens have been pretty nippy. I'm trying to find more inspiration on Pinterest! They've got some hilarious ideas!

I bought the Daniel Tiger costume on Kohl's with coupons but if you Google it they sell it on other sites, too (TRU, I think, Amazon, etc). The Tigey costume I'm just going to put together myself somehow. Or if I'm lazy, I bought a blue striped sleep and play with a picture of a tiger on it that he can wear, lol.

Originally I was going to be Daenerys Targarian from Game of Thrones and DH was going to be Drogo and we were going to have DD be a dragon but all of the dragon costumes are very boyish. Now I'm thinking I may dress her as an owl instead.

Right now I'm either going to make DD a baby chick costume using feather boas or I'm going to put her in a tulle poofy poodle skirt and make her a sock hop girl. I need to figure this out ASAP but I can't decide!

I got a tigger costume for cheap at BRU, but it's a 6 month so it's a toss up if it'll fit at the end of October. He's already wearing a few 6 mo onesies at almost 8 weeks so...no telling.

His entire nursery is all monsters inc, so when we spotted a Sully costume at BRU we knew it was meant to be. DH may try to make himself Mike, Im not sure.

So cute, I looked at it online, tried to convince ds1 to be Daniel tiger for Halloween. He was on board for a second, saw the superman costume and decided he was going to be superman.

I found a wonderwoman costume which is fitting since H was conceived the night of a stellar Halloween party on which DH and I went as Wonder Woman and Captain America:) I was bummed because I was in Labor on the 4th of July (H did not come until the 8th) because that would have been the perfect birthdate after those costumes!

We thought about doing the 3 blind mice. Both boys would be on board but my daughter wants to be Elsa so getting her in a mouse costume might be difficult. I really wish I could sew because costumes are pricey.

My DS1 has decided on being Harry Potter this year. So I am making an owl costume for LO to be Hedwig. Halloween is my favorite holiday mostly because I love making my kids costumes! Last year, DS1 was a mummy that I made an DH and I went as hunger games characters, so fun! And I have made him a pretty impressive ghost costume in past halloweens.
