I have an upcoming company gala in October and I will be 19 weeks. I'm a FTM so I have no real idea of what to expect(size of my bump) other than everyone telling me I will "pop" at 18-20 weeks. For the gala I need to wear formal attire, I would prefer a long dress over a two piece. I was wondering on your opinion for attire. Should I attempt for a loose fitting and stretchy regular dress, or maternity? And if your vote is maternity, what stores carry formal maternity dresses?

Its not as formal a needing a gown, but men should be suits and ladies in suits or long dresses. Coworkers tell me no one wore short dresses last year if that helps any. I've never done anything formal, except homecoming freshman year of HS if that counts @-)
It'll be at night, at the national harbor in MD, indoors
That's super weird. I'm gonna take another look now...
However, I just remembered I stocked up on black maternity dresses yesterday so perhaps one of those will do the job.
I wore this dress in eggplant.
I suggest David's Bridal- that way you can try the dresses on and decide for yourself.
