So my dear sweet husband invited me to be his date to the annual Navy Ball . I'm going to be huge . Like .... 34ish weeks huge . I need cute dress ideas that won't accentuate my newly claimed "big" areas ... Except maybe my boobs . I've never had boobs before now , so that might be fun to accentuate (; haha .

We have my husbands Marine Corps ball in November. I'm renting a dress from Rent the Runway (I've done it like 5 times now for different events and always have great experiences). They even have a new search option under the body type section that says "bump friendly". There's a few long dress choices but more short ones.

Just make sure you go with something long enough. I went to DH's Army ball last spring and there was a very pregnant girl in a poofy, short baby doll style dress (like you'd expect to see a high school freshman wearing to homecoming) while almost 34 weeks pregnant. It became waaaay too short because of her bump and wasn't formal enough for the event at all. I definitely agree with PP's about empire waist, and I recommend something floor length or mid-calf length to be safe that it's formal enough.

I love rent the runway! I didnt know they had bump friendly dresses tho, thanks for the info. I'm gonna have to check them out.
