Hey, ladies! It's been a while since I've been around here. I started posting late in my pregnancy - mostly in the "still pregnant" and "end of month" posts. I don't remember if I did an official intro there or not... Let's see...I'm a March turned April mom and Team Green turned Team Pink! This LO is my second. DD1 is almost 3 (so hard to believe!). Becoming a mom of two has kicked my ass (hence my disappearance from the bump!). DD1 was my unicorn baby....DD2 has been quite the opposite! AND! - bonus! - DD1 has entered her crazy twos or threes or whatever the difficult toddler age is.

So double whammy! Big props to all you moms of 2+! I expected the first 3 months to be tough...but DD2 turns 5 months next week and I still feel that I'm barely getting by.
The ONLY thing that has been easier with this baby is breastfeeding! So to all of you who have had a tough time with BFing, I just wanted to share that it is possible to have totally different BFing experiences with different LOs!
Sleep is awful. Nighttime is okay, but daytime naps only last 45 minutes (which is one of the biggest hits to my bump time!).
I'm a SAHM, but I've joked with DH that if DD2 had been our first baby, I might have headed right back to work! It's been a tough 5 months for me. I've felt pretty isolated. DD2 is very demanding and I don't have any mom friends nearby. One of the reasons I really wanted to reintro and get back to the bump is so I can connect more easily with some other moms. I've had some time here and there over the months to peek in and catch up on a few threads here and there but I felt I had been away too long to post without a reintro. And then all the reading and not participating made me feel more isolated (like I was watching something I wanted to participate in) so I wanted to get this post out and I hope I'll be able to pop on and contribute a bit more now that I've said Hi! But I'll apologize in advance if my bumping is a bit sporadic! If anyone has any tips on how to lengthen naps, that might allow me to bump more! Ha!
Re: Hello again! Re-Intro
I enjoyed staying home with my first. I'm not enjoying this at all but am hoping it gets better soon for both of us!
