PIP Thursday

Let's see what you have today!

****PSA****

Next week will be a special throwback PIP edition featuring a baby/childhood photo of our Bumpies. Of course, you are welcome to post a throwback pip anytime, but this PSA gives you fair warming to dig out your old photos and scan them in. I'll post a reminder next week. :)

  • @KH826 It's a beco gemini. We got it because it's one of the few where he can face out, which we think he will love in a couple months when he can hold his head up better. It's really nice and it feels like he weighs nothing in it. We tried a bunch on and this was our favorite. Plus we used a 20% off coupon at buy buy baby so we got a pretty good deal.

Awesome! My wife is kind of obsessed with carriers at the moment. We currently have a Boba wrap, a ring sling, a Lille Baby structured carrier and a Mei Tai. The wrap we don't love, the ring sling we also don't love. The Lille Baby has been too hot in the summer, but we LOVE our Mei Tai. We just ordered a custom cover for it to jazz it up a little. Anyway, I hadn't seen the one you have in your pic yet, so I was just curious. My wife has become a big baby wearing fan and has brought me along for the ride. I didn't think I would dig it, but I do really like it (on occasion when I get to wear him, since she always is!).

We have a Beco Gemini and we still use it for G (30lbs).  I loved that we didn't need an infant insert for it, and I also loved that people of different sizes could both use it with really easy adjustments.  I'm happy to hear that BBB is now carrying Beco.  They weren't we we got ours (Amazon).

Wow that is a lot of carriers! We have a K'tan, which was okay but I'd be happy to sell it now. I really want a ring sling though. We tried the Lille Baby, I don't remember why J didn't like it as much as the Beco. We considered a Mei Tai as well, but maybe next time :) I love babywearing, I'm not sure J is as big of a fan yet but I'm hoping this new one wins her over. He is getting to heavy to just carry at 10 whopping pounds (sarcasm) We are just on the weak side.

We got the ring sling and boba wrap as baby shower gifts. I bought my wife the Lille Baby as a Mother's Day gift before baby was born, and then we bought the Mei Tai together when Will was bout 6 weeks old b/c I hated the Lille Baby, and it was really just too hot in the Summer.

But I agree, we have a lot! I would like to sell the boba and ring sling... I might bring this up to my wife tonight! :)
