Wet spots

Does anyone have any tips on preventing wet spots on your shirt from breastfeeding? I use pads in my bra but the issue I have is when I'm actually nursing the milk drips on my shirt.

Re: Wet spots

  • I tuck a burp cloth into my bra underneath the boob she's nursing on.  If I take off my bra for some reason, I have to cover the other boob with a towel because my milk will let down.  Others have said that pressing on your nipple on the opposite boob will stop the letdown.

  • Same, I'm putting a burp cloth/corner of a blanket under the nursing boob... Still working out the details, but so far that seems to be catching most drips/drools.

  • Burp cloth under the boob/baby's chin. She's a bit of a messy eater though, she dribbles

  • I use the entire receiving blanket! Tuck it under the boob and on top of lo's bottom arm so that doesn't get soaked either.... I never knew how messy it would be!
