My son never took more than 5 oz at a year old. He was taking 4 oz at a time up until about 10 months when we switched from four 4 oz bottles at day care to three 5 oz bottles when he was actually eating some solids. Just smile and nod and tell her how much you appreciate the advice, like I do when my mother tells me that feeding on demand is a terrible idea.

DD is 14 weeks and is breastfed so I don't know exactly how much she's getting but we give her a bottle of pumped milk for her bedtime feeding and motn feeding. Both are 4 oz bottles. She seems pretty content, I gave her 5 oz once because I didn't wanna waste what she didn't drink earlier and she seemed okay with it, but 4 oz is the normal for her.
LO is 15wks on Friday and he's eating 6-8oz every 4-5hrs. It's about 4-5 bottles a day/night. He's a piglet but he's non stop growing.. He's like over 30inches long...
It's funny you ask this because I was just at DDs GI today, and she said she wasn't gaining the ideal amount of weight and told me she should be getting 26-28 oz. a day. I just switched to bottles permanently today and she gets 4 oz at a time, but she only had 4 and then a 6 oz at night. Before I was EBF and I noticed she only really eats about 2 solid meals a day and just kind of falls asleep or "plays". She seems to really like the bottles and acts more "focused" so I am hoping this will help her weight gain.
My little guy is 3mths in Saturday and does 6oz bottles/breast every 2-3 hours. I breastfeed and supplement. He was a hungry boy from the time he was born so the hospital had me doing both because he just wasn't satisfied.

This is how my LO is, I was starting to think I was over feeding the chunky boy LOL
DS is 13 weeks old and takes an average of 3-4 oz per feeding still 8 times a day, sigh. I guess it's time to try to stretch the time between feeding and get him to eat more?

All of this - except this morning I left a 6oz bottle for DH to give her while I was out on my morning run, and she downed it. AND she was still hungry when I got back so she had some boob too. Miss Piggy
My twins are 16 weeks and they BF or 6-8 oz bottle 5 times a day. They just started the 7&8 ounce bottles and I was a little worried. I hate not knowing how much they are getting from me.
My DS is 18 weeks old today. He takes three 4-oz bottles at daycare, and then feed on demand at home. However, I feel like the calculator on KellyMom may have misled me. I am finding so many other articles and advice on giving more milk (more calories) to him at this age. I am debating increasing his bottles to 5 ounces and seeing how that goes. He wakes up a lot at night right now, but I can't tell if its teething, regression, hunger, or what!

I would ask your DC provider how he is doing with his bottles and if he still seems hungry after 4oz. Apparently mine was acting super hungry after just 4oz so they started adding from my stash. She is now taking 5-6 oz bottles. It's hard for me to know because when she is home I BF her so I rely on them to tell me what she needs when she is there. Mine is 16 weeks and I'm guessing 14lbs. Good luck!

Ditto this, but I would guess he eats 8 times a day and BF at night, max another 10 oz, mostly just comfort nursing. He is 16 weeks and in sz 3 diapers, wearing 6-9 mo. clothes.
