Buy Buy Baby is far better. I was beyond thrilled when one opened up in my area. If you get on their mailing list, they send tons of coupons and even take the Bed, Bath & Beyond 20% off coupon that comes weekly in the mail.
It's extremely well stocked and organized and the sales associates are very helpful. I had one spend almost an hour hunting for a stroller while I was shopping. They go above and beyond. It makes BRU seem like a 3rd world shithole.
Could not agree with you more. We actually have both in the same shopping center. You can totally see the difference. I find the customer service at BBB far better an more helpful. Also this was a situation that happened to me at BRU. My BFF was registered there and I wanted to buy her the snap-n-go. BRU gave me a hard time with shipping and they wouldn't match a price with BBB. Their reasoning was the Style/model # didn't match. Upon further research I come to find out that BRU actually buys the exact same product as BBB but has some of the manufacturers change the Style # to a custom BRU #. They do this to avoid price matching. The only way I found out was by going to the manufacturers website and clicking on the alternate model #'s and there is was they were the same exact stroller. I found this a little sneaky and it really turned me off. I asked BBB if they would match an item with a different style # and they told me they don't even look at the #. All they look at is if it looks the same and the same color.

BRU has a very good return policy (up to 1 year after the due date and includes diaper exchanges) and they give you 10% back on anything purchased off your registry.
If you could register at both, that is what I'd do.
I have had great experiences with bbb. They continue to send you 20% off coupons. We used our first one and it comes off the highest priced item on the purchase. The cashier told us when we get more coupons bring in our receipt and they will continue to adjust the receipt taking 20%off the next highest item. We've gone back 4 times and continue to get money back!!!
I only registered at BRU because there is no BBB near where I live or where my family lives. However, I've heard good things about BBB. I haven't had any issues thus far with my registry at BRU. They give you 10% off your registry items so I made sure to register for a lot so even if things are purchased, those items I plan on purchasing regardless.

This i did not know. Thats awesome. I also like their 10% completion coupon. Thats off the whole purchase.
BBB has more products. There's not one close to me, though, so I registered at BRU and did myregistry.com with items from other stores (including BBB) that I couldn't find at BRU.

I love BBB! I started my registry there. They were so helpful and had great info on things. I also love that they have a bigger selection on bigger things then BRU! Great coupons too.
The difference of Buy Buy Baby to Babies R Us (the two closest to me) was huge. BBB was definitely cleaner and more organized. I also had no problem getting assistance at BBB. I couldn't get anyone to help me at BRU. So BBB won.
God I wish we had a BBB here. "Third world shithole" describes babies r us so perfectly. Pardon my political in correctness, but it just feels "ghetto" in there
