I need some suggestions for something that can take place of her jumperoo. D is seriously bored with the small amounts of time she is allowed in there. PT said because her hip isn't quite right to limit as much as possible, but my daughter loves to jump!
I got her a ball pit and will give it a few days, but she seems pretty MEH about it.

So I need some type of activity center or something she can jump
and just be silly that isn't a crotch dangler.
Now for the EI update we had our meeting today. She will be receiving sessions once a week. They are even going to send in someone to help me teach my baby to STTN and work on getting her attention spans a little bit better. I didn't realize that was possible but I'll try
whatever. Anyways I'm hoping that EI will help her catch up. Her Expressive Language is comparable to a 4 month old, so there is some catching up to do!

Re: Suggestions for activity centers and EI Update
Her cooing only consists of Aaa sounds, and she "technically " doesn't babble meaning making consonant sounds. She also doesn't make discernible noises for when she wants things. She does make a mmm sound while crawling but that's it. She can't do anything else. She does not mimic others. She can not wave hi or bye and she doesn't clap or do peek a boo. Those are the things that got her scored so low. She does make noises though. She squeals and blows bubbles and grunts. I'll take a pic of the explanation from EI in a few.

As far as a toy . I wasn't looking for something to help her delays. I was just looking for something to help entertain her. She really enjoys jumping so I was trying to replace this activity with something that is more hip friendly. I will be working on getting her more sensory toys as well.
Her gross motor skills are pretty good but her right hip has some issue. So far it's not holding her back though.

She is actually using her ball pit a lot today! So that's exciting! I really don't care what she plays with as long as it's safe, but she has been doing a lot of climbing unsafe things. This is why I wanted to find some other things to bring into her rotation. The toy I was thinking is a rocking giraffe actually it's super cute!
Maybe I'll get this as a 1st BDay present. Anyone else have this do your LOs like it?
