**I can hardly believe it but this is already my last week in the 1st trimester, so I am looking for someone who would like to take over. Maybe one of the lovely April ladies who have joined us?**

I can do it. Hopefully I don't jinx myself! But I've always enjoyed doing check-ins.

I have no update. Still anxiously waiting for my u/s 9/22. The nausea is getting worse, so I am looking forward to the weekend when I can be even more lazy all damn day

QOTW: I would love to travel to Spain. I love the food, wine, and I could visit the towns my great grandparents are from.

Heyo! Just got my third betas back. We're at 732 now!! First u/s scheduled for 9/22. If I can just see it and know there's a heartbeat I can relax...I know it.

Still no major symptoms to report from me but it's still way early. I can't believe it hasn't even been a whole week since I found out!

I had my 2nd u/s yesterday, and we finally saw two heartbeats at 140 bpm each. And I am so glad to say, I do, actually, feel a little relieved. My RE did spot a small blood clot under one of the sacs, but he did not seem concerned, and just said we'll keep an eye on it. It may go away on its own (FX).

My next u/s is on 9/16. Tuesday is getting to be my favorite day of the week.

QOTW: I have always wanted to travel to Istanbul. I would visit the Hagia Sophia, and the Hippodrome, and sail the Bosphorus, and shop the bazaars.

side note:

(DH wasn't commuting to the city yesterday, so he had enough time before work to go to my appointment with me - which was a nice bonus. I don't think he'll ever be comfortable with seeing the stirrups though. I had to laugh when he ask, "Why are you getting undressed for a scan?" ..... Ignoring the fact that this proves that he doesn't pay much attention when I'm talking, I had to laugh, and let him know I am more intimately involved with the plastic probe than I am with him at this point).

I would love to join the check in and keep up with you all! We have 1 bean and our due date is 04/30/15. I just posted my intro yesterday so I won't repeat too much. Our next appointment is 9/25 and that just seems sooooo far away!

QOTD: I'd travel all over Europe. We were planning to do a trip next September as a delayed 10 year anniversary trip, but now that we have a baby on the way we probably will put those funds elsewhere.

Ill join! @gsancho so glad to be here with you

. My EDD is May 5th based off of my IUI date and my first u/s is 9/18 and I am so nervous! I have few symptoms except for some nausea in the middle of the night? Sometimes it concerns me that I don't have more symptoms so I am def in need of this u/s!

QOTW: I would loooooove to travel to Ireland! My great aunt travelled many times and would always come back and tell me how beautiful and fun it was!

Yay for @gsancho stepping up! You can't jinx a pregnancy, although I still actively avoid doing it regularly.

@rella22 - Welcome and congratulations!

@thebrewers2005 - Time goes so slowly in early pregnancy. The 25th seems a long time away to me, too!

AFM, waited to update until we had our appt today. Baby measured 25.6 mm (an inch!), equivalent to 9+2 (I'm 8+6 for those on mobile). Heartbeat a little lower at 167, but that's probably because I was much more relaxed than last time. Even saw him moving! (I think it's a him, but meh ;-) ) Everything looked great, and I'm hoping to get the official graduation notice later today, as well as an end date for the PIO. We tell parents tomorrow!

Big hugs to everyone! Even when things look great the first tri is hard!

No new updates for me, and my next appointment won't be until 2nd tri. I'm 12w5d and my MS has been getting worse every week so I'm hoping that this week will be my last. I can't wait to cook and eat normal foods again!

QOTD: Australia! I've always wanted to go there but time/money/long flight has always been holding me back!

Hello Ladies,
I am new here, but would love to join! We are 5w2d and going strong so far!

I say this because I lost twins very early last October, and by 5w we had major complications and I started bleeding, and then by 6w they were gone... BUT, this time we are so great! no cramping no spotting, mild nausea but pretty tired. Our EDD is 5/12/15. We wont know how many beans we have cooking until 10/14... I am SOOO anxious and very ready to get to that point so I can hear a heartbeat and see my little sprout on the screen!

QOTW- I would love to go to Italy!!

@pblge - No worries, I laughed right in my OH's face, and asked him, "Why do you think I wear special socks?" I don't think I've ever used the term "dildo cam" in front of OH before - perhaps if I had, he'd have been more prepared.

AFM, I'm still sorting out OB issues, but think I'm on the right track. I've decided to switch hospitals, which opened up my OB options. I had my Mat21 blood draw this past Monday and am anxiously awaiting results. I have also scheduled an NT scan, which I know nothing about, except what I read on these boards, since I have no OB to talk about it with! So nervous!

I think my blump is starting to want to turn into a bump, so that's exciting.

QOTW: If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I want to go EVERYWHERE! If I had the money, I think Abu Dhabi would be very cool!

Hi all, I'm always late to this party. I'm 12w today, feeling great starting to get my energy back, but I'm extra sensitive to smells now, which sucks because I'm a nurse and well, it's a smelly job sometimes.

Had my 12w u/s yesterday and yoda is measuring exactly on track, hb of 152 and moving around like a rave dancer. It was amazing to see and I feel SO relieved. Hard to believe 1st trimester is already over!

QOTW: I would go to Bora Bora, I'm not very adventurous and I like to be a beach bum on holidays so that would be perfect, and since I don't exactly have $15k kicking around for a weeks holidays it's my dream wish list holiday.

@geordie314, I had my NT today, same "hiccuping". The Nurse said it was nerves forming. Hiccuping is cuter, IMO. I fell in love, too. Tears fell. We also got a normal, pending bloodwork.

Hi ladies, I posted the check-in but never got around to updating for myself.

@gsancho, thanks so much for offering to take over the check-in.

There seem to be a lot of new faces this week, too! This makes me so happy.

We had our NT scan this week and the Dr. also did a version of an anatomy scan as kind of extra. I am not sure if it is because we are having twins or because these are IVF babies or because he was just being super nice, but everything looked normal. Growth was perfectly on track. NT results look good (I forgot to call about the bloodwork result yesterday - oops, but things went so well that I am feeling way more relaxed). And two adorable, healthy and strong heartbeats, which is the most beautiful sound in the world (whoa, I am one of those cheesy, over-the-top-in-love-with-her-babies pregnant ladies now).

@chucktgirl, I have a little bump going on now, too! I thought it was still to early, but I can't seem to "suck it in", so it must be a baby bump.

QOTW: I would still like to go to Iran and Nepal. I could definitely see DH and I doing these two countries with kids. We also want to spend a year or two with them in a Land Rover going through Africa. This is one of my motivations for getting my teaching certificate right now. Did I mention that we are kind of nuts? :P Wouldn't have it any other way.

@Margritli‌ - I am there with you, travel wise. DH went to Kenya to run a marathon this year, and I couldn't join him because of my IVF schedule. I was super, super bummed.

@AMShark, bummer! I hope that you get a chance to go another time. Kenya is amazing (though I don't like Nairobi much at all). I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a year there during my bachelor program.

Hi ladies!

Sorry I've been running so late these past few check ins.

I've had a bit of drama the past week- but luckily its all better now. My TSH level was 0.18 which might explain al the palpitations I was having! At first my nurse said to keep all meds the same and when I pointed out how low my TSH was she agreed to lower my levothyroxine. I had scheduled an NT scan for wednesday with a new group only to find out that they do not do NT scans and refused to have me as a patient because I am too high risk. Luckily, they referred me to an MFM that also delivers. I had my real NT scan the next day. Totally jealous of your cool baby time @chucktgirl & @geordie314 The person doing the scan found baby right away, got heartbeat and then froze the picture to get measurements since baby was in the perfect position. I didn't see baby move at all- and my stupid picture she printed is totally black except for the spinal cord.. but I hear that after the first appointment I get a 3d scan each time I go- so I'm hoping that is the case because I was kinda disappointed. The doctor himself is great. He has a lot of experience with multiples so I should be a breeze for him. He already said he will sign me out of work at 28 weeks because I have a hellish commute that isn't good in the 3rd trimester. And my cervix grew to normal size- yay!

Also- mixed in the drama- my Panorama test didn't work- they said they couldn't get enough blood (they only took 12 vials). And then the stupid twit on the phone told me they can rerun the test and have DH come in and use his DNA to determine baby's DNA from the blood... Or the twit could have opened and read my file and saw that we used donor sperm... WTF is up with people refusing to read a file?? (vent over)

QOTW: DH actually booked a mystery vacation for us for our honeymoon in November and I'm pretty sure we are going to Belgium. My grandfather is from there- and somehow my Belgian lace christening gown was destroyed by a family member- so I would go get a new one for our little one. Oh- and lots and lots of chocolate!
