Probiotics?

Does anyone know if it is ok to take a probiotic while stimming? I usually take one every day to begin with, but I wasn't sure and I was hoping it would be ok since I'm on some antibiotics which almost automatically give me a yeast infection. :(

    My RE recommended I take a prebiotic and a probiotic

    FET #1 - March 26, BFN

    FET #2- Beta #1 (9dp5dt) -332, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) -1027, EDD 1/30/2015, Missed M/C, D&C 6/19/14

    IVF/ICSI #3 (Lupron Down Reg) - Oct 2014 - 38R, 28M, 27F, 20 frozen on day 5, 16 normal penguins!!

    FET#3 - February 1, 2015, Prep begins 1/13

    Well, probiotics and antibiotics will fight in the gut. I know that much! I always stop probiotic supplements when on antibiotics and try to keep the gut happy with foods like yogurt etc. I am not in anyway an expert though :) I'd ask just to be safe!

    ETA: If you start your probiotics back up after antibiotics, it should still help keep a yeast infection at bay- at least it has worked that way for me!

    My clinic recommends one when you are on antibiotics before ER.

    September 2012: Start IF testing

    DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA  Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

    October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos

    November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues.  Converted to freeze all due to lining issues.  2 blasts frozen on day 6!

    January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

    April 2015: FET #2.1
