LO's grunts and other nighttime noises now include some weird giggle that makes her sound like a gremlin. That coupled with the darkness and rainstorm last night creeped the shit outta me for hours. What's up with you all today?

Oh, and also, I woke my child (who sleeps through everything) up with my own obnoxious burp this morning. Her arms and legs splayed out like a starfish. I was pretty proud of myself.

We're packing today for a long weekend trip (tomorrow through Monday). I'm a bit scared of travel with 2 kids, sleeping in an unfamiliar place, and balancing caring for DS with being a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend. Hopefully we all survive with some sleep and not too much stress!

We are moving to our new home on Saturday. We started building in May and I started packing then to try and get ahead. However, there is still a lot to be done before Saturday, but I'm just sitting on the couch holding DS. I'm going to regret this when I'm up all night Friday prepping for movers!

DD2 woke herself with an explosive squirt poo this morning. It sounded like assn empty soap bottle. And she just looked at me like she had no idea what just happened.

I pumped for the first time this morning and since I was alone with DD I decided to watch. That sh*t is crazy! So much more intense than when I leak. I kept thinking about cows.

DD giggles sometime while nursing. Makes me smile everytime! Last night she sat in her swing for over an hour staring at herself in the mirror. It looked like she was making faces at herself. Once she smiled. It was pretty entertaining to watch her look at herself.

I know *exactly* the laugh you mean. A couple weeks DS did the laugh while having a gassy smile and for a moment I thought my child was possessed like in scary movies.

I put A in my Tula carrier today hoping in would be about to get some editing done to meet my deadline. She slept for 4 hours straight. No night time crabby period. I'm just hoping I can get her to sleep in the bassinet tonight so I don't have to sleep sitting up on the couch with her on my chest like the last three days.

The night sweats are finally over, supply has regulated, bleeding has stopped. All this means I wake up dry and it is glorious!!
