Rash on face

DD#2 has a rash on her face.  It has been around for 3 weeks now.  She is a thumb sucker.  It is curved around her mouth right where her hand lays on her face.  Is there some type of cream or something I could put on there to help clear it up.  Or maybe a barrier cream to protect that area?  Or should I just leave it?

  • Coconut oil maybe?

  • I would try to rinse with water and pat very dry frequently throughout the day.  Coconut oil might help with it's antibacterial and antifungal  properties, but I'm worried about it staying too moist that way.  I feel like it needs to dry out.
