Maternity pants: full vs. half panel which do you prefer?

I own one pair of half panel maternity pants (that I am currently wearing). They were comfortable early on, but right now I want to tear them off and set them on fire! I feel constricted and at times they feel painful. The jeans are comfortable everywhere except where this stupid band lays on my body. I swear to God the baby hates these pants too because I feel kicking where the panel is awkwardly digging into my lower stomach. From now on I will only be purchasing full panel pants.

Which style do you prefer? Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable in half panel pants?

Absolutely agree! I hate the half panel. I couldn't wait for hot weather to be over so I could wear my full panel pants!! All my shorts and capris cut the belly in awful places

Full panel! I found a pair of maternity shorts that don't look like old lady shorts but they have a half panel and now they suck to wear. Full panel pants are the most wonderful thing in the world.

SS I prefer full panel but I fold them over/down half way because I don't like them up that high.

Full the whole pregnancy. I tried the half panel very early on and hated them from the first second. In the beginning I folded the full panel down and have been inching them up ever since.

Glad I'm with the majority (like the 100%)- Full every time. And don't get me started on the "Under the belly" shit they sell. That doesn't look good on ANYONE.

Wow I am definitely the minority! I love my Demi panel from the Gap. They stay up and don't cut in my skin. I needed another pair of jeans and just bought another one. I figured I would get more bang for the buck since after having the baby I would rather wear the Demi than the full. I also have a pair of the side panel and while they look like regular jeans I have to wear a long shirt with them or my crack shows!

I didn't realize how awful demi was until I bought a pair of demi panel jeans. I can wear them for about 30 mins before I want to tear them off and sit in my office in my underwear. Unfortunately I think this is against dress code.

Full panel all the way! The Demi panel is not only unflattering my super uncomfortable, too. Sadly I bought some Demi panel shorts early on that I can't bring myself to wear. I hate wasting $$.

I bought half panel ones at 12 weeks because my jeans were just uncomfortable, and two weeks later I regretted wasting the money! I am for full panel all the way. So much more comfortable.

I believe its a "training bra" for some. Get used to the idea of "maternity" pants until you graduate to Full Panel.

I have one pair of full panel jeans from Old Navy that I like. Other than that, I'm still in regular clothes. I need to break down and buy khakis for work. Glad I read this thread!

I have a few demi pairs of jeans from Gap that I love. However, my demi panel jeans from Old Navy are the worst (I also think they are a size too small)!

I think half panel are for early on only. Otherwise they aren't comfortable or realistic.... I prefer full panel the entire time though.

I made it through my entire pregnancy with DD without maternity pants - she was born in October and it was way too hot for the entire time I would've need them, so I just wore dresses maternity shorts. I wore leggings during the one month when it was cool out (even then it was 84 degrees when she was born in Oct.)

I don't think I even know what half panel means so I'm guessing my jeans are full panel!
