Gift for shower hostess

Hi Ladies - I can't even believe that my baby shower is coming up next month!  It didn't feel like this would ever happen!  Anyway, a few close family members are hosting my shower and I would like to get them each something small to show them how much I appreciate them.  They have all been incredibly supportive through our losses and fertility treatments, and it means the world to me that I have them in my life.  I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a little something that would show my thankfulness.  I'm looking to spend $50 or less for each gift.  Thanks for your help!

    That's extremely thoughtful of you. Perhaps a gift card for a mani/pedi or to a spa? Or a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant.

    Another thought - treating them to dinner or brunch sometime soon after.

    Whatever you decide, it's hard to go wrong. They will certainly appreciate it.

    I got these great jars from IKEA, going to fill them with mani/pedi stuff/goodies and give them to my hostesses :)  Thought making something could be fun!

    Me:     30, DH: 32
    My hx:  uterus/hormones normal Dx: low AMH 0.5 = poor ovarian reserve
    hubby hx: low sperm count, poor motility, started on clomid, retest in May showed no improvement, will be on clomid another 3 months, another retest scheduled for August

    Started IVF #1:  ~BFP Mentioned~
    • ER (Thursday April 17th, 3 precious eggs).
    • April 18th: Received news 2 out of 3 eggs fertilized!
    •  Planned 3dt: Easter day, transferred two 8B embryos and received pictures :)
    • BFP starting 8dp3dt 5/1 Beta #1: 87, 5/3 Beta #2 206 
    • 5/19 Heartbeat 123bpm
    • EDD 1/8/15

    You can send them all flowers.  I've never not appreciated getting a flower delivery.  It's especially nice at work, when you get to hear everyone ooo-ing and ahh-ing over the arrangement.

    Or a gift certificate that everyone can use - like Target, or a gift certificate to the movies for a night out.  

    Like ppl have said, I don't think you can go wrong - They will likely appreciate whatever you choose.

    2 rounds ovidrel with timed intercourse (no result): 3 rounds IUI with clomid + ovidrel (no result)
    2014 summary (to date):
    IVF cycle 1 - ER: 4/17 (28 follicles, 3 fertilized, 2 survived to day 3);
    ET: 4/20 (3rd day, 2 embryos - 1 @ 6 cells & 1 @ 4 cells); Beta 5/1 - BFP!; 
    1st scan 5/13 - development behind, no heartbeat detected; D&C 6/2; WTF 6/13
    IVF cycle 2 - BCP begun 7/12; stims w/ HGH begun 7/26; 
    ER: 8/6, 12 follicles, 7 fertilized w/ ICSI; ET: 8/11, 3 blastocysts left, 2 transferred, 3rd arrested 8/12 - none to freeze :'(
    1st beta 8/19 - BFP! 294; 2nd beta 8/26 - 4976; 1st u/s 9/2; 2nd u/s 9/9 - two little heartbeats at 140 each!!! 
    EDD: 29-April-2015
    Other Meds: Synthroid 100 mcg/daily

    We got our hostess a gift card for both a retail chain and a restaurant.
    Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN.  IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! Beta #1 195 Beta #2 1/15-533. Ultrasound on 2/4 showed one bean. EDD 9/22/14. Team Green turned Team Blue-Baby Conner arrived on 9/19/14.

    Wow 50.00 bucks a hostess is generous! 

    I like the gift card idea to a restaurant or spa!  I know I would love to get that!

    If you are crafty or want to make a gift bag or basket you could do a theme... like a fall goodie bag full of autumn items like a candle, fall nail polish color, food item, a scarf etc... 

    of course the most important thing is a thoughtful personal thank you note with whatever you decide!

    I did a spa gift card for my hostesses. I did 30.00 each. Good luck and have fun at your shower!

    Thank you ladies for your suggestions!  I do like the idea of a spa gift card, or maybe a DIY mani/pedi kit with a bottle of wine.  You are right, the note means more than the gift @ksgsmu
