I woke up at 5:20 to pee and I had to get up at 6 to shower. Well DH leaves at 6 so I decided to go ahead and shower so if LO woke up (he was snoring when I woke up) DH could tend to him. I'm just starting to shave my legs and he wakes up SCREAMING. I'm guessing he reached for the boob and it was gone so cue scream. DH couldn't get him calmed down so my shower was cut short and I cut myself shaving. ) : great way to start my day.
Re: Wednesday whining..
A has another ear infection. We see the ENT tomorrow but I don't think they'll treat it so I probably have to make an appointment with his pedi also. First day of PTO since I went back to work in January and I get to spend it shuttling him around to doctors.
I expressed concern over this on meet the teacher day (I did end up going but was just super late) and the teacher assured me that Hayley would get 2 naps for the first few months. Well that has not happened. Last night she fell asleep again as we drove home from DC. She never used to do that.
She goes back tomorrow, I plan to tell the teacher my concerns and ask she go to nap time in the infant room twice a day if need be. At least until she is a year old, then she can chill with the big kids all day. This room requires lunch- that part of it is going well, I think she's enjoying that part since we are doing it at home too.
My biggest whine of the day- our office is being renovated as we work( lovely right? ) and they are painting today- my asthma is killing me. I had to leave last Thursday when they hung wallpaper in the rooms not being painted and tomorrow they lay down carpet. I'm not sure how much more fumes I can stand but I don't have the PTO to stay home. I just want to breathe!
Hugs to everyone else whining today- I wish I could make your days better
@mamasoup030 I agree. It's asking a lot of a baby that age.
@Mommyxtwo1113 let us know what happens with C's Immunology visit.
With LO's history of wheezing, this entero-virus going around is scaring the bejessus out of me... It's in most of the states surrounding Nebraska... and I read a local article saying it will come to Neb.
Hold me...
I'm pretty sure I'm catching whatever he has now. I feel terrible, my throat hurts and my ears hurt. I have the ability to work from home now so I think I might do that this afternoon. I can lay on the couch with my laptop while DH and G hang out and play.
Thanks for asking about C. We just got home from our 9 am appt. It was a lot of info, however I think we have a diagnosis. I don't want to get too much into it here but if anyone really wants to know I can discuss it with them privately. It's not life threatening and we still some steps to get an official diagnosis, but at least it's a step in the right direction.
I'm a little overwhelmed right now so I may not be around much today but I am thinking about all the ladies with the sick LOs.
T has had a little more solids lately, but the poor kid's poop is a little thicker now and he SCREAMS when he goes. I'm so sad! I just bought prunes and pears and tried to get them into him...praying it helps!
Oh, we also helped mil pick up this cutie today!
