Hi girls. I'm new here. I'm on my second round of clomid. In the over twelve months I was TTC prior to taking clomid, I always got a positive opk around CD14 using clear blue regular digitals. On my first round of 50mg clomid, I did not get a positive OPK. Also, I had unprecedented crazy spotting starting at CD25... womp womp. So this month, usuing 100mg of clomid, I started using clear blue advanced digitals. I'm on CD18 with five days of flashing smilies, but no solid smiley which I believe means no ovulation. Prior blood work indicated I was ovulating. Has this happened to anyone else before while on clomid? And no, I'm not being monitored since I'm doing three months of clomid with my gyno that I love dearly and I know that monitoring is better, yada yada yada. Thanks for any info you girls can provide!
Re: No Positive OPK While On Clomid
As for your current cycle, the nurse at my fertility clinic told me that clomid often makes women ovulate later than usual, so keep testing and good luck!

We have seen SO many horror stories from girls on our board who decided to risk clomid without monitoring. Your "yada yada yada" is a little flippant and off putting to me.
With that said, clomid can screw with the accuracy of OPKs. There's no way to know if you're responding and ovulating without the proper monitoring. There's no other advice I can give. Good luck.

Sorry you're not getting the answers you want. Most of us here are doing things the right way and don't have that issue.

Your flippant remarks, passive-aggressive comments, and unapologetic "apologies" are making me a little ragey. Please, stop. And the Bump never forgets. Also, some of us post on multiple boards. Don't bother posting on TTGP because you'll probably get called out unless you give a genuine apology. Try babygaga or babycenter.
Bye, Felicia.
