Every other day. But I wash my hair with shampoo once a week. My hair is extremely curly/dry so washing it too often just makes it frizzy. I use conditioner all the time though.
I'm not on a schedule (SAHM), it just depends on my time, schedule, and mood, but probably every other day on average. But, when I'm sick, (like this nasty chest cold I currently have) I take 2-3 showers a day.
I shower daily but I do it at night and sleep with my hair wet so I am not as on top of it as my answer makes me seem
I though I would grow-up and start taking showers in the morning and blow dry and all that jazz but at the ripe age of 32 am thinking that is never gonna happen!
Unless I've done something to get dirty, I probably shower every 3rd day. I used to shower daily, but ended up at the dermatologist because of extremely dry skin no matter how much lotion I used. Like, skin dry enough that it was cracking and bleeding in places.
Dermatologist said even if I wasn't using soap every day, I was washing oils out of my skin that I needed. My choices were a prescription lotion or showering less frequently. I chose to not rely on a prescription.
Like most others, shower daily except I might skip a weekend day. But my hair only gets washed once a week. Any more than that, and I swear it would all break off and fall out and be the consistency of hay (very curly ethnic hair that dries out with too much washing).
I shower daily and wash my hair daily - I have fine oily hair, so it looks awful if I don't wash it every day - even with pregnancy. I skip the occasional day on the weekend but I usually feel gross if I go to bed without showering. I only actually do my hair though when I'm going somewhere, most days I pull it back into a loose ponytail after my shower.
For those of you who skip days in between showering, do you not wash anything? I've always showered at least once a day and can't imagine going a day without at least washing my underarms, butt, and vagina.
Better know as the prostitute bath!! (not that you are one, just they gotta hit the high points!)
I used to shower every other day until my early 20's. Then someone shamed me into showering daily and now I have to shower daily. My body no longer regulates the oils naturally. After training my hair for the last year, I can wash my hair every 3rd day without any excessive oil, but I do shower daily. Now that I am pregnant, I shower twice daily due to swamp crotch situations... You ladies know what I'm talking about.
I'm a shower/bath whore. Usually a shower in the morning and a bath at night, but sometimes vice versa if I do my hair at night. Nothing is more relaxing to me.
Every other to every third day for me, unless I am outside a lot or do something that warrants an extra shower. My hair is super curly and prone to dryness, but I can't shower without washing it (oh, the frizz!), so I tend to need a couple days in between showers so that my hair doesn't turn to straw. Lol
I used to shower every single night, and wash my hair. That was when I worked 60hrs a week and felt gross without a shower. In the last year I haven't worked and now I plan on being a SAHM, and well pregnancy + shower just takes too much energy out of me to care. Days I don't go anywhere, I don't shower, so on average I shower every other day or so. Some days I don't do anything, especially lately when I've just been so sore from trying to do things so what's the point in a shower. If it's hot and sticky out though I shower. It just depends I guess on what I've done and what my plans are!
I have really fine hair and it gets gross by the end of the day. I aim to shower every day that I work, but I occasionally over sleep and just throw my hair up in a bun or something. I shower once over the weekend, depending on how gross I feel.
Re: CPW!! How often do you shower?
