Venting because HDBD says I have to say something nice say some ice nice

I've only gained 14# but I feel like such a freaking cow. I thought I was starting to look pregnant but when I see pictures all I see is a big fat beer gut. And if one more person makes a comment about how I've packed on the pounds (they don't know I'm pregnant) I'm going to punch them. I'm so frustrated. Anyone else?

    I actually overheard some ladies in the locker room talking about me as well. Luckily, somebody else told them I was pregnant. I came out of the "pregnancy closet" after my A/S on Wednesday so I was ok with my bean being spilled. But it really hurt my feelings. People are ass holes ;) but you ladies make me happy!!

    People have seriously said that to you? I am so sorry! People are A@@holes! I have gained between 12-15# as well and I feel pretty large. No one has made a comment to me in that regard but i could imagine the hurt and anger that would come from something like that. 

    I got a comment asking if I was having twins...cause my damn stomach looks like a basketball is under my shirt. I am just a lil more popped out than most, but you know what everyone is different.

    Don't be so hard on yourself and don't let others make you feel down. 12# is not a redic amount by any means, you are half way through. My Dr. didn't say anything to me about my gain he said I was doing well.

    One (older) man at work commented on how I was getting a pot belly. And, he knows I'm pregnant. Um, yea, I am growing another human being, not gaining weight for the hell of it.

    I'm sorry that people treat you that way. I've gained 18 pounds and had two women argue with me because they said with my belly size I have two in there. I assured them that a) we only put in one embryo and b) i've had a billion ultrasounds I would know if there were two. It made me cry.

    I'm not sure the intention of people who make comments like that. Seriously?! Are they wondering if you're pregnant and hope you'll tell them if they comment on your weight? F them. You look awesome and I wouldn't confuse your obviously pregnant belly with "packing on the lbs."

    I can't believe some of the comments some of you guys have had to deal with. Seriously, it just astounds me that people say things like this out loud. 

    I had one at work the other day, too. After mentioning my pregnancy to a girl at work, her response was "Oh!!! You're Pregnant! I'd seen you around the office from behind and I wondered if something was up!" 

    Yep. Apparently my ass is pregnant with twins.

    I don't think it helps that I FEEL discusting because I'm so incredibly bloated. Pooping only once a week is really starting to take its toll.

    DH made a joke to his coworker who he invited over for dinner last night that I'm eating for 3. I am not pregnant with twins; he was just being an asshole. I was pissed.

    Sorry you feel bad. I just like to focus on the fact that my body is growing a baby, and that's a pretty amazing thing.

    Gosh people are just awful sometimes.  I honestly don't know what they are thinking when they say these things.  I'm sorry!    

    I've only had a few people comment on my weight gain so far but I'm sure I'll get more.  My coworkers aren't known for being polite.
